Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Quickstrike “Non Entourage” | Available

After countless months of speculation, rumor and intrigue, the shoe with many nicknames (we’ve heard “Untourage,” though the general consensus among the sneakerhead population appears to have settled on “Nontourage”) has finally started to appear at Nike SB retailers. While some shops have already watched the shoe fly off their shelves, others have held off the drop date, waiting for this Saturday to release them into the wild. Sure there’s the distant connection to the late HBO series Entourage, but it’s likely the stellar design — featuring the classic black suede and gum rubber combo, with a subtle elephant print — that has sneaker enthusiasts waiting in line. For those in the Boston area, Concepts will be dropping the kicks on Saturday.

King Louie: “Val Venis” + Announces Deal With Epic Records

It’s been a hectic couple months for Chicago in a good way, and chances are if you are on a flight between LA and Chi a rapper is aboard as well. Today King Louie, releases his first single from Dope & Shrimp “Val Venis” while also announcing a deal pairing Lawless Inc with Epic/Sony Records. In a recent interview with FSD, Louie stated “we’ve been back and forth to LA lately, and the second time we were out there, we went out there to meet with Epic. We hollered at them, we came back to Chicago, the lawyers talked and we worked everything out. We came to the right agreement, and did the deal.” Congrats to Loiue, John, Larro and the team. Amare Stoudemire x Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Always On

Amare Stoudemire’s arrival to New York City during the 2010 offseason proved to pay off immediate dividends for the franchise and the city. He brought a winning attitude with his ferocious offense, and garnered legitimate MVP consideration for leading the Knicks to playoff contention while standing as the sole leader of the team in the days before Melo. In 2011, Stoudemire was presented with his latest signature sneaker called the Air Max Sweep Thru, which served as the inspiration behind this special Air Force 1 Bespoke, designed as part of the ‘Nike Sportswear: Always On’ campaign. The shoe pays tribute to Amare’s undeniable status as a bonafide superstar, and was given away in limited quantities during Amare’s live appearance at 21 Mercer last December.

The camouflage-inspired upper is taken directly from the Sweep Thru strap, which features the same detail, although for the Bespoke, the pattern is achieved by the iconic Lasering method on a royal blue tumbled leather. Embroidered on the heel is Stoudemire’s nickname ‘STAT’ (Standing Tall And Talented), with the ‘A’ on the midsole colored in orange to distinguish his first initial. The final personal touch comes in the form of the custom hang-tag, which is uniquely addressed to each of the six winners of the giveaway. Last year, Czech guerilla artist Roman Tyc took to the streets of Prague for his Semafory Project and replaced 48 walk signals with whimsical figures that make you take a second glance. Hiding in plain sight, the clever culture jammer installed some wild and mild designs in broad daylight. The new silhouettes depicted a man walking a dog, drinking, being hung and urinating. While the locals found the project entertaining, the authorities didn’t find it too funny. Roman was arrested and forced to replace all the lights back to normal. He did however elect to not pay the fine and was sentenced to 30 days in the slammer. The public protested his punishment and decapitated the semaphore figures by painting their heads black.
