Sleepy-Poo

sleepy poo

Dookie-Poo plays hard and when the day is through there is nothing he loves more than putting on his cozy footy pajamas and curling up in bed with a warm blanket and his stuffed bunny. Dookie-Poo likes to unwind by watching reruns of the Weather Channel or reading a good book before falling asleep. Dookie likes the Phone Book, which is kind of boring but has a large cast of characters or CATCHER IN THE RYE, even though it has nothing to do with Bread.Approx. 4 inches tall. Only 100 available so they should not last long. More pics after the jump. Continue reading

SCION XB – TACO & PAINT

Click to maximize*

Check out this very clean Scion XB “Taco & Paint” Truck by Kenton Parker. Soda Tacos and paint would definitely be a huge money maker and great service at any large paint event such as a Meeting of Styles or a Paint Louis… looks like you’d have to bring your own beer. More pics after the jump.

KRS-One Performance & Discussion On Obama

Okay so, KRS-One crashes a show hosted by Chuck D a couple days ago. He gets on the mic and drops some serious knowledge on and off the rhyming tip. With that being said, as a individual living in this society, I like to keep focus on the real issues at hand, so I was blown away with some of the stuff he was speaking. One of the verses: “the president can’t do nothing with the banks, thats for the federal reserve bank, you asking the president for the economy, when it’s the federal reserve banks that run society” -Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone

Michael Lau x Nike 1World “Air Crazy” Force 1 Preview

Having caught a glimpse into the impending Michael Lau x Nike 1World “Air Crazy” Force 1 release, here’s an in-depth look at what’s in store as the revamped MICHAEL GALLERY is seen here re-modeled to reflect its participation in the Nike 1World program. Inspired by Hong Kong toy designer Michael Lau’s production company “Crazy Smiles” and the overall “crazy” love for sneakers shared by many, this theme manifests itself over an Air Force 1 and pack of signature toys. The shoe’s upper is made of a padded, quilted white leather to symbolize a padded institution room. On the heel are five lasered strike-through logos to represent the AF1’s birthday last year. When the gallery becomes open to the public on November 29th and 30th, 25 action illustrations showcased in peephole style will add to the theme of the initiative. The shoes go on sale starting at 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on November 29th at the MICHAEL GALLERY. More pics after the jump.

Krink x Nike Air Force 1 1WORLD Release

Krink x Nike Air Force 1 1WORLD

Krink x Nike Air Force 1 1WORLD

After images of the Krink x Nike Air Force 1 1WORLD shoe hit the internet over a month ago, fans of the artist and the actual shoe itself have been eagerly awaiting its release, but the end of the wait is now in sight. November 29th will mark the release date for this highly anticipated set of footwear as it will be available at 21 Mercer Street and a few other select retailers. I am not so much an Air Force 1 kinda guy, but you cannot really front on this shoe. Krink’s signature paint drips in silver against the clean gray colorway of the shoe make these a total hit, but add the gum sole to the mix, and that hit easily turns into a homerun.

Big Geezers group show features works by the would-be family of European and American artists Minivila, Galo, Flying Fortress, Wayne Horse, Miss Riel, Abner Preis, Pez, Morcky Troubles, and The London Police at the Scion Installation LA Space.
True to their character, the show is wild and we got a chance to corner a few of the participating artists to ask them about their work for Big Geezers. Read what these Geezers had to say here.

Giant Sculpture of Darth Vader and Yoda Carved out of Butter

An old, but good story:

Each year at the Tulsa State Fair, an artist is commissioned to make a sculpture out of butter. In past years, cows, farmers, and baseball players were created out of hundreds of pounds of butter. This year, in celebration of Star Wars’s final episode, TSF is featuring Darth Vader and Yoda, all dairy-like.

Retrospect: Air Jordan 11 (XI) OG Concords

Jordan XI

The Air Jordan 11 (XI) OG Concords. As you know the Air Jordan 6 Rings Concords release tomorrow, so its time to give proper appreciation to what has led a few other Concord Air Jordans to release.

The Air Jordan 11 (XI) Original Concords released in November of 1995, and this was one of the pairs Michael Jordan laced up to help the Chicago Bulls end the 1996 Season with a 72 – 10 record. At the time, patent leather on a basketball shoe was unheard of, but the man and legend Tinker Hatfield wanted the Air Jordan 11 (XI) to look like a convertible on your feet.
