NEW Consignments: Stussy World Tour, AF-X and P-Rods

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Elite (Stash) features a honeywheat / pimento color-way, which is simply a green and beige upper. Designed in collaboration with Stash, these are really nice, as they do feature some artwork on the toebox and side panels. The orange Nike swoosh definitely stands out as it is bright. The back half of the shoe features a diamond shaped pattern, and features Zoom Air insoles, evident as they are embossed on the shoe’s outsole. * This is a special Stash Edition Release. Coming Soon to A.Okay: Supra NS “Burgundy” Collection

Aside from their wide range of fashion-forward designs for Spring 2009, Supra introduced yet another fashionista-geared collection as part of their NS line. Consisting of their Skytop, Strapped, and Trinity each sneaker is emblazoned with Burgundy patent leather uppers and complimentary perforated paneling. Jesse Hernandez Signing Tour

Artist Jesse Hernandez is about to embark on a US signing tour with his bad-ass travel partner Jaguar Warrior (pictured above). J. Shea’s Pusher Reconfiguration

For the upcoming Pushers custom show @ Munky King, sculptural artist J. Shea has worked his wicked skills to produce a couple of what he describes as “reconfigurations” (a very apt description) of Thomas Han’s Pusher figures.  This first one is a whimsical yet bold enforcer of extreme and humorous proportions.  Great stuff. Be sure to watch for the official announcement of the Pushers custom show slated for late March.

Initially surfacing back in 2008, the collaboration project between Earn Chen/James Lavelle owned boutique Surrender and Medicom Toy has finally come into fruition. Two sizes will be released including a 100% and 400% Bearbrick both coming in a black and white color scheme. The figures are rumored to reveal a bottom bikini layer triggered by hot weather changes. Guess we’ll have to wait and see when the final product is released.

Hanazuki Studio

Hanazuki Studio Shop was founded in Amsterdam by Niko Stumpo and Hanneke Metselaar, as a street level venture with the intentions to bring free flowing creativity to the masses. Or as they say it, like a moonflower (hanazuki) that brings its colours in to the darkness of the night. Aside from working with top-notch clients such as Nokia, Mimobot, or Quiksilver, Hanazuki is a strong promoter of youth culture and holds regular puppet-monster making labs, animation and illustration workshops.

Seeing a previous effort on a number of wallets, Beams and Porter have teamed up once again on a larger project featuring Chimayo Weaving. Turning their focus on Porter’s traditional messenger bag, weaving companies were sourced to each offer different patterns and styles including Ortega’s and Trujilo’s. The bags feature contrasting leather bottoms which work well against the colorful designs seen on the exterior flap. Available now at Beams.
