A.Okay Official bids you farewell… it was a great run!

A.Okay Official
First and foremost, we would like to thank all our committed customers for making the past 2 years a blast for us and making a good home to all the products we had to sell. All of the relationships we have made throughout the past years will not be forgotten but will certainly be missed.

Unfortunately we have to close due to us losing our lease. We would like to thank our family and friends for all their love and support for A.Okay and what the mission of A.Okay meant for the growth of the urban sub-culture here in Chicago. I know to a lot of you, this news will be very shocking especially for our new customers in which we had the pleasure of meeting within the past few months.

Our last day of business will be this Saturday from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm.  Please join us to show some love as we say farewell with some great music by dope DJs, refreshments and a blowout sale!  We will certainly miss all of  you and cannot thank you enough for all your support.

The scheduled gallery show which we had planned for this year is pending relocation. Our curators will be in touch and let you all know more.

“DOWN AND OUT BUT ALWAYS MOVING UP….”

Upper Playground – Usugrow and Saber New Era Caps

Upper Playground Usugrow and Saber New Era Caps

With all the crazy colors these days, going back to basics may not be such a bad idea as Upper Playground just dropped some black and white tonal pieces from two distinct artists from opposite parts of the world. Saber’s Paint design features abstract paint patterns that consist of blacks, whites and greys that are screen printed on the body of the cap. While in contrast Usugrow’s Hair design is more open with his famous brush strokes embroidered on the left side of the cap only leaving a blank white space on the right creating fantastic balance. Both caps use a simple black brim for minimalistic look that may not scream out loud but definitely will get the right attention.
