The Air Jordan brand has announced a historic shoe release scheduled for January 2010. The Air Jordan VI (6) Infared is scheduled to make it’s re-debut. Originally released in 1991, the Jordan VI caught on like wildfire by becoming the first shoe Michael Jordan wore to win an NBA championship. It became the shoe of choice for basketball and leisurely wear during the early 90’s. Nine years later Nike decided to retro the shoe and released it in the summer of 2000. This shoe has developed a cult following and is highly in demand by the sneaker community. 10 years after it’s retro release this shoe will be available for sneakerheads to purchase for $150.Gradient Magazine got a sneak peak at these amazing shoes before they make their re-debut. Jessica Alba is under criminal investigation for daring to take a stand on behalf of great white sharks — in Oklahoma!Oklahoma City cops tell us the city’s Director of Parks and Recreation — Wendell Whisenhunt — filed a police report after photos surfaced of Alba allegedly defacing electrical boxes, a bridge and a United Way billboard. Alba was on a mission, gluing posters that are part of a campaign to save the great whites.The problem — the glue is so gnarly the posters aren’t coming off. Cops say they want to have a chat with Alba, who’s in town filming a movie.
Alba, it seems, is scrambling. Her rep has already called the United Way, offering to replace the billboard.

The Last Bloody Polar Bear
This weekend opened “Do You Feel Lucky?” a show highlighting the work of Patrick Ma (at OhNo!Doom Gallery). Patrick Ma is the owner and mastermind behind Rocketworld and I.W.G. vinyl toys.
