Nike Air Classic BW Gen II Torch

Torch is kind of a big deal. These shots helped to showcase Nike’s new Torch technology but the shoe itself should be the star of this story. The Nike Air Classic BW Gen II is slated for a 2010 release and its only right we spotlight the shoe itself.

From the looks of these images the technology is the most predominant part of the shoe even when its not seen. This is evident in the cut away side panels on the heel. Black and charcoal nubuck cover the upper while a gloss swoosh is spotted on the side. The mesh tongue is thin to reduce weight and embroidered with the Nike Air branding. New Balance x Almond x Dash! Yonkuro – M574A

New Balance x Almond x Dash!Yonkuro – M574A – Front

It has been a while since we have seen any relevant work on a pair of M574s. Just in time for the holidays, we get a glance at a New Balance x Almond x Dash! Yonkuro collaboration.

The collaboration, inspired by the Japanese comic Yonkuro, is customized to match the colorway of the main character. A bright orange patent side panel accents a primarily white leather base. A black mesh is used on the inner toe box and around the ankle while a black mid-sole extends from the back of the shoe up to the side panel. A bright yellow heel panel syncs with a yellow ribbed piece right above the black mid-sole and a yellow “N” is outlined in black on the side panel. A contrasting blue tongue imprinted with the number “496″ lies beneath black laces the thread through white starred lace holes. [Via mita sneakers]

A.P.C. X Nike

These are sure to go quick, so hustle over to Colette/We Sold Out to get yours. The long awaited A.P.C. X Nike shoe in black with the familiar guitar and tennis racquet logo embossed on the shoe has come to symbolize the French company’s sense of style and whimsy. Very simple, but classy and classic at the same time. Also made in white, would not look out of place at the country club or the symphony with tennis whites or a tux. Super limited, these will definitely slip under the radar and you will be left to hunt them down on eBay…

Nike’s Lime Vandals For the Ladies

Do you remember that whole era of after school specials, trading stickers, and going to the roller rink and skating to the beat of “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me”. Good. Then you might like these Vandal Highs From Nike which remind me of the good times of trading in tickets for cheesy gifts at Major Magics (or Chucky Cheese) or a sparkling episode of Jem and the Holograms.

Peek through your local Nike stores to add these to your holiday tree

The Nike Dynasty

In time for Valentines Day coming up in February, Nike has dropped two new colorways of its Dynasty model to commemorate the holiday.
Leave it to Nike to keep banging out the kicks. They probably already have 2012 NYE limited editions already popping out of the factory! Is this a good thing?

As I see with our technology, we are so excited about getting all the latest models, updates and editions of almost everything that we rarely enjoy we have in the now. What’s wrong with your Nike Dunks from last year? Those were made to last weren’t they? Oh, I forgot…Kayne is wearing something different.

You can get these overseas at select Nike retailers. In the meantime, flip through the athletic catalogs for team kicks if you dig this colorway.
