The Junya Watanabe x Carhartt collaboration was a little under the radar. Today we can give you a more detailed look at the collaboration. Unlike other collaborations by the designer, we heard that Junya Watanabe actually went into a Carhartt store and purchased 100 jackets and customized them, rather than actually having it manufactured by Carhartt. The jacket comes in several colorays and features a multitude of details, including leather patches, plaid and camouflage details and more.
New Balance pushes forth another set of New Balance 1400s. Each model pairs a high quality brown leather heel and embossed tongue tag with top notch uppers. All black leather or a creme leather and suede mix. Now available at mita.
Vans Syndicate presents for Spring 2010 a collaboration with Andy Kessler. The pack consists of the Old Skool “S” and the Sk8 Hi “S”, both featuring premium black leather uppers, perforated leather accents, white logo stripes and soles, as well as acqua laces in contrast to the otherwise very clean shoe. An Andy Kessler logo tag is placed on the inner sole. Most interesting, Vans Syndicate used Outlast technology materials on the pack, making sure to keep your foot temperature in balance, as well as providing ventilation.

The ever popular Gel Lyte 3 returns from Asics for Spring 2010 as part of the leather pack. The pack consists of a brown and a black colorway with the complete upper, including the logo stripes, made of leather. The pack is now up for pre-order at Crooked Tongues.
Japanese brand Deluxe has released first product from their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The drop includes a Hanes t-shirt collaboration, new hoodies, pants, college jackets, belts, beanies, as well as a new range of hair product.
adidas continues its work with French graffiti artist Fafi for Spring/Summer 2010. Next to some really nice clothing in the new collection, the artist also tackled for the first time the adidas running shoe archive with some solid results.
After a very successful partnership with the Chukka boot, Dr Martens and Stussy Deluxe continue their collaborative partnership with a canvas shoe for Spring/Summer 2010, The Hambleton. Both brands have deep roots in street culture and command respect for their independent, grassroots heritage. Embracing the craftsmanship of Dr. Martens and the laid-back aesthetic of Stussy and California, this fusion has produced what is sure to become an iconic canvas shoe.
The Hambleton is inspired by sport shoes that have so long been the uniform for the youth of California and the famous European summer lightweight shoe, the espadrille a two eye moccasin toe footwear style that is sure to be a staple for the Spring. From a styling perspective, the Hambleton has a clean and sleek look with its bound apron and collar. The Hambleton will carry a Stussy Deluxe woven logo on the tongue and the classic SS Stussy logo is embossed on the rear heel counter. Each style will be tastefully finished with the traditional Dr. Martens woven loop in tonal colors to match the use of canvas.
The product has been built upon a new EVA wedge sole and a strip of Stussy’s signature purple runs along the top of the sidewall as a feature to offer a truly refreshing take on this product.
The Dr Martens x Stussy Deluxe Hambleton is available in three color ways – Navy, Black, and Ecru with two options of laces, tonal or white.
The collection will be available at select Dr Martens retailers and Stussy chapter stores worldwide on March 2010.
With their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, Stone Island Shadow Project presents their first footwear. The Leather High Top Sneaker comes with a perforated leather upper, leather lining and in-sole, an embossed logo on the tongue and side-panel, as well as a rear velcro strap. They also present a low top version with a large zipper along the eyelets. The low top comes in two colorways. Made in Italy and knowing Stone Island, you can be sure that the quality is up there. The sneakers are now available at Haven.
The on-going collaboration of Puma and Japanese designer Miharaya Yasuhiro enters its 10th year Spring/Summer 2010. For the occasion they have produced a great viral video, introducing the Pumaneko. Check out the viral video here below!

The Alife Collection has well developed in recent years, moving from an entirely sportswear focussed line, to a mix of sporty and casual fashion styles. Both low- and mid-top styles can be found in the new Spring 2010 Collection that are mostly subtle in their appearance with some interesting material choices in the mix. Our favorites for the season remain the Chuck and the Public Estate Mid, which comes with some nice wing tip features on the upper.
