The Hundreds Spring 2010 New Era Caps

The initial Spring 10 delivery from The Hundreds includes two collaborative fitted hat styles produced with New Era. First up, there’s the Adam New Era, starring, you guessed it, their mascot Adam Bomb embroidered at the front. The cap is available in three color combinations. In addition to that they have the Tonal New Era, which features a monotone palette with embroidered and 3D embroidered logo graphics. This one also comes in three colors.

Both The Hundreds New Era Caps will release this coming Thursday at their flagship stores in LA and SF.

Woolrich & nanamica 60 40 Mountain Parka

Following a successful FW’09 collaboration, Woolrich teamed with Japanese brand nanamica once again for SS’10. Well known for their work with The North Face’s Purple Label, nanamica added some interesting technical materials and features to the classic Woolrich styled 60/40 Mountain Parka. The Mountain Parka comes in tan or black and features a nice plaid lining. Limited release – good luck finding one outside of nanamica’s flagships in Japan.

PUMA provided designer Sadia Rafique with the iconic First Round silhouette and she went to work – handpicking fabrics, colors, trims, laces, print techniques, and designing an accompanying shoe bag. The final design features transfers of Sadia’s ink drawings and poetic messaging in black, white, and pink, enhanced by LOT 78’s quality soft leather and suede. Limited to 400 pairs. Keith Haring’s 1985 Mural for SOMACC SF @ Deitch Projects NYC

Keith Haring's 1985 Mural for St. Patrick's Day Care Center SF
Currently on display at SoHo’s legendary Deitch Projects is Keith Haring’s 70-foot-long mural painted in 1985 for the South of Market Childcare Center (SOMACC) in San Francisco.

“The mural is one of 16 public works painted at hospitals and children’s centers around the world during the artist’s lifetime. Painted in one day, the mural incorporates cartoon characters and animals inspired by the artist’s childhood drawings. When SOMACC lost its lease and moved to a new location in September 2006, the mural was dismantled and is now on view for the first time outside of San Francisco.”

On display at Deitch until February 16th, 2010.
