“The Following are Pages Torn From our Most Favorite Imaginary Books.”

The first of the long-anticipated annual Torn Pages shows. Curated by Josh Lucas, this collection of imaginative, funny and original children’s stories, written by some of Chicago’s finest writers and illustrated by artists of the same caliber.

Nike Sportswear "Tokyo Destroyer" Air Force 1

Matching the recent release of the Nike Sportswear “Tokyo Destroyer” Varsity Jacket, the brand has now also released a matching Air Force 1. The AF1 comes in a workboot look with a black leather upper, contrasting white stitching, hiking boot laces and the Tokyo Destroyer logo on the heel and the lace lock.

Once again Saucony has teamed up with Boston boutique Bodega to collaborate on their Shadow 5000. For 2010 the sneaker comes 4 colorways – it will be available in a blue and red tonal colorway, as well as in blue/grey and acqua/grey colorways. Overall the entire line-up looks very solid, using premium suede and mesh on most of the uppers, white mid-soles and gum outer-soles make a nice finish. It looks like these will only release in Japan.

Damien Hirst Psalm Prints

Damien Hirst’s Psalm prints draw directly from the butterfly collages of his larger gloss paintings and are the most recent of his silkscreen series.

“With the butterfly wings separated and ordered in a mandala-like pattern, their arrangement mimics the precision of a collector’s display. Also calling to mind the exquisite stained glass of Europe’s great cathedrals, the wings of these creatures unite the celestial and the earthly to present us with the possibility of beauty in death.”

The prints come each in two versions, with one being diamond dust coated. The prints are now available from Other Criteria.

This week The Hundreds release a selection of accessories from the Spring ‘10 collection, including belts, socks, wallets, and several bags. We’ve shown you several highlights already. including the highly-functional Clarence backpack, which features MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment) system straps; and the heavy canvas Adam Bomb D-ringbelt; but the Duffy duffel bag above, is also worth a nod. Nike Sportswear Store by Head Porter Plus

Later this month a special Nike Sportswear Store by Head Porter Plus will be opening its doors. The store will release special product, such as the HTM2 Runboot that we showed you earlier today. Limited to 1 year, the store will host special releases and events, especially around the world cup. The store will open its doors on February 20th.

Nike Sportswear Meets Beams T "Sports Is Art": "I Like" T-Shirts

Nike Sportswear has partnered with Beams T on a series of t-shirts. The first one to release is the “I Like” t-shirt, which features the slogan right above the classic Nike Swoosh. The t-shirt will release at the Beams T Harajuku store along with a special exhibition on February 19th. More on this special project hopefully soon!

DC Shoes x Sixpack France x PMKFA

DC Shoes has once again worked with Sixpack France, who chose PMKFA this season to work on the graphics and looks of the collaboration. For Spring 2010 they present two sneakers, the Sector 7 and the Admiral, as well as two t-shirts and a matching New Era fitted cap. The entire collection is kept subtle and works with lots of light grey.
