The new Kaws exhibition opens at Galeria Javier Lopez in Madrid on February 17th. Here we can show you some pictures from the setup, including some first views of the paintings that will be on display. The artist seems to have taken a bit less colorful road for the new exhibition. Hopefully we can soon show you more.

First shoes from the Ransom by adidas Spring/Summer 2010 Footwear Collection have been released. The Bluff is their take on a classic boat shoe. It comes in a black and a light green colorway with white leather laces and a clean white outer sole. The Valley Low is a subtle low top sneaker with a ripstop nylon upper. It has also been released in two colorways. The new Ransom by adidas Spring/Summer 2010 Footwear is now available from Gettry.
For Spring/Summer 2010 Comme des Garcons has extended their Speedo collaboration to their PLAY collection. The first drop includes two swim shorts, as well as two swim caps. All pieces come in black and feature the PLAY Comme des Garcons branding. The product is now in stock at Cliff Edge.
We have already seen quite some fashion brands enter the cellphone market. Sports brand Puma is the latest one. In roughly 46 days their new Puma Phone will be launched.
The phone comes with an integrated solar cell, music player, camera and all the usual features of a modern cellphone. Of course the brand kept sports in mind when creating the device. It comes with matching apparel and sports equipment (GPS run tracker, GPS bike speedo, pedometer, yachting compass, etc).
Also from a design stand point the phone does not look too bad. Now we just have to see how it performs.
The Nike Sweet Classic SL comes for Spring 2010 in two very clean colorways. Both feature white leather uppers, with perforated leather tongues. Color accents are set in black and red or respectively green. The sneakers are now available at Kasina.
“Do it yourself” is the style and theme of the collaboration between skateboard legend Jason Jessee and clothing label Obey.
Experience and explore the reality of Jason made us discover his ability to transform insignificant objects into something unique and intriguing. The inspiration comes from Jason’s past, from the days when the work was mostly manual. See how pieces of handmade leather, metal sculptures and giant slabs of wood alongside skateboards, bikes and guns makes us understand how Jason is able to perfectly combine the past and present.

After showing you the complete lookbook a while ago, we can give you a more detailed look at the Alife Spring 2010 Collection today. Among the releases are the Shell Toe Nubuck, Everybody High Americas Cup, Everbody High Allover, Everybody Mid Suede and the Kennedy High Suede. Overall they chose premium materials and subtle colors in the new collection, with only a few exceptions. The new collection is now available at Mita.
Vans presents as part of their Spring 2010 Collection the Reissues Pack. The pack consists of Half Cab, Sk8 Hi and Era. All three feature red/navy/black uppers, overall looking very classic. The pack is now available at Gettry.
WeSC offers a look into their new 2010 Activist Headphone Collection. Activists spanning from DJ/producer Stretch Bongo, The Berrics skate park, Baltimore-bass man Pase Rock, Italian production duo Crookers, and artist Matthew Weinstein were each treated to their own signature pair of Bongo headphones. Several nice looks can be found in stores now.
