Curated by Sarah Jo Marks and Dov Kelemer of DKE Toys, The Yoka Custom Show opened this past Thursday for an encore showing @ Black Maria in Atwater Village. First seen at DesignerCon at the tail end of November ‘09, the show now features 30+ new pieces pushing the total to over 200 3” custom Yokas (adFunture). Turn out was quite strong with a good crowd throughout. In addition to checking out the Yokas, folks took time out to eat Korean BBQ Tacos from the Bool truck as well as deluxe ice cream sandwiches (two huge cookies with ice cream in between).
