Artist of the Week: Max Bare
(ORANGEALERT.NET) There are two key factors to art in Chicago, collaboration and fluidity. The scene is constantly changing as galleries open and close. The artist has to have the ability to connect, communicate, and relate on a variety of different levels. A good way to make these connections is to provide a stage for others, curator shows, learn how to stage and present a show, and build a reputation. Max Bare is an artist, illustrator, but above all else is a quality curator and person. He has worked with several galleries and is currently working with OhNo!Doom Gallery. All Gone Launch at Stussy Los Angeles – Recap

All Gone just celebrated the release of their latest book at Stussy Los Angeles, after previously hosting launches in Berlin, Paris and New York. Of course some familiar faces showed up for the event, including Eddie Cruz, Edison Chen, the people from 10.Deep, Twelvebar, Clae, Dr. Romanelli and many more. For the occasion Stussy also produced an All Gone tee.

Today we can give you a complete preview of the new Raf Simons x Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The line consists this season of polo shirts, shirts, knitwear, jackets and more. The polo shirts and shirts all come with very short collars and in some strong colors, including neon colors. Also the material choice is interesting and offers some alternatives to the regular product that is on the market.
Raf Simons x Sterling Ruby Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

After Raf Simons has already worked with artist Sterling Ruby on the interior of his Tokyo flagship store, the designer now presents a collaborative collection with the artist. Known for his large scale spray painted canvases, the same technique has now been applied on the collection, which consists of denim, denim jackets, blazers and tench coats.
Kidrobot x De La Soul 20th Anniversary Pack

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album 3 Feet High and Rising, hip-hop pioneers De La Soul teamed up with Kidrobot to create this limited edition set of 3-inch figures.
Each figure comes with individual accessories and the set comes in futuristic space travel boxes, symbolizing De La’s mission to take hip-hop to the stratosphere and beyond. Retailing for $50, the De La Soul 3-Pack arrives at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers on March 18.
Vans x White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2010 Mountain Edition

As part of their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, Japanese brand White Mountaineering got together with Vans to collaborate on the Mountain Edition mid top sneaker. The sneaker comes in two colorways – navy/red and lime green/grey. Both come with upper made of cotton check patterns and premium suede. The outer sole is translucent with the check pattern continuing under it. The White Mountaineering logo appears on the tongue tag and the inner sole.
Fred Perry x Liberty Spring/Summer 2010 Blank Canvas 2010

Fred Perry has announced its new ʻBlank Canvasʼ range with the iconic Liberty. The collaboration sees two quintessentially British institutions join forces on a collection of classic Fred Perry product.
Launching internationally in April, the range includes four classic Fred Perry pieces styled using two of Liberty’s timeless prints; ʻMarkʼ (paisley) and ʻEdenhamʼ (floral).
Items include four re-worked classic M12 polos, two in Black with Ecru tipping and two in white with Larkspur and Berry Red tipping. The polos have then either been printed all over in each print or have a more subtle Liberty touch with the Edenham or Mark print on the inner collar and placket. A short-sleeved shirt fully printed in both Liberty designs and the Classic Fred Perry Black Harrington Jacket with Mark lining complete the Blank Canvas collection.
Alife Spring 2010 Footwear – Public Naval Leather and Everybody High Lux Suede

Once again new footwear from the Alife Spring 2010 Collection has been released. The new drop includes the Public Naval Leather and the Everybody High Lux Suede. The Public Naval Leather is a low top sneaker that comes without lacing, clean white outer sole with a red hit on the heel. The Everbody High Lux Suede comes in three colorways with clean suede uppers with no obvious branding. Both sneakers are now available from Flauge.
