adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2010 “Street” Pack

When a product has the name “street” in it, that is never a good sign. Usually it means that you will find loud graphics, mostly graffiti inspired, on the product and unfortunately that is also true for the new adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2010 “Street” Pack. But luckily, adidas did not add that “street” flavor to all sneakers in the pack and kept some of them very clean, resulting in solid looking footwear. The Forum Mid comes in two very nice colorways and the Stan Smith and the Samba also came out really clean.

On the first “official” In The Cutts trip to LA they get down with The Hundreds for an episode. The Hundreds’ new headquarters has not really been filmed outside of their own in-house work so this is a bit of a rare look at the space that houses the brand that is currently kinging “California Culture”. Mors Artic Fish Leather Fall/Winter 2010 Footwear

Mors, the UK based sneaker brand will be releasing a range of sneakers made from Arctic fish skin for Fall/Winter 2010 in limited quantities. The ‘hoop’ high top will be available in electric blue fish leather and a black/blue fish leather colorway. The ‘net’ low cut model will be available in a dark blue fish leather. The salmon leather comes from the north of Iceland, it is a very strong and supple leather with amazing textures and colors that have to be seen to really be appreciated. It is very difficult to make sneakers from fish leather, so they can only be produced in small numbers. They are handcrafted to the highest standard in Portugal.

The fish leather sneakers are part of the Autumn/winter Mors range inspired by the arctic and featuring arctic sourced leathers like arctic fish and elk.

Today we present you the second part of the adidas Originals by Originals Kazuki Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. While the first drop consisted of more technical inspired apparel, the second part of the collection is more casual and fashionable. Stand-out pieces include the suit and the dress shirt, both coming with nice details. The new gear will be in stores mid March. Look out for closer looks at the apparel and the footwear from this release in the coming days.

New Balance 365 – A Collection of 365 Films Exploring Balance

New Balance 365 is a collection of 365 short films that encourage viewers to think about “the balance”. Each morning, one 20 second short film will post live to NewBalance365.com for everyday of 2010.

The first 88 (of 365) films were shot in Stockholm and were directed by multi-talented Swedish film director Jesper Koothoofd. Each film features a New Balance silhouette that will be introduced as part of New Balance’s global spring/summer 2010 collection.

In addition to the website, this project can also be accessed via an iPhone app which brings the experience of New Balance 365 to life in the form of a daily alarm clock. The alarm clock wakes you up with something new and different every day and also allows you to view your own sleep statistics, and how they compare to others around the world.
