ASOS Black x PUMA Fall/Winter 2013 Collection Lookbook

The ongoing collaboration between ASOS Black and PUMA has yielded the lookbook for their Fall/Winter 2013 collection, once again fusing fashion and sport to produce precisely cut pieces exhibiting an appealing minimalist aesthetic. A running polka dot motif is present throughout the range, appearing on woven shirts, polos and nylon windbreakers in a variety of sizes — mostly skewing large — and finished in subtle tonal shades. Another highlight is a color-blocked crewneck, while menswear essentials take the form of a paneled white dress shirt and trim-fitting cotton twill trousers. Check out the lookbook in the gallery below, and expect the collection to be available starting June 2013.

Lili K Announces New EP Entitled “My Favorite Things”

Rising songstress, Lili K, has already given fans and listeners more than a handful of great records even though her first EP came out just two years ago. Nonetheless, her recent work with local Hip Hop artists has shown us a quick preview on her growth as an artist and Lili’s forthcoming project should be her best yet. Today, the Chicago Reader announced the official name for the EP, called My Favorite Things, via their Gossip Wolf feature and also stated that it has a tentative release date for July.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of my favorite actors. Anybody that’s seen the immaculate Brick knows that Gordon-Levitt’s acting range and ability has grown since his days on Third Rock from the Sun. Outside of the acting sphere, he’s also a purveyor of arts with his hitRECord initiative which helps writers, illustrators, photographers, and artists of all media to collaborate with one another to create something amazing. With Don Jon, Gordon-Levitt is adding a few extra feathers into his cap.

Don Jon is Gordon-Levitt’s written and directorial feature-length film debut. Jon Martello (Gordon-Levitt) is your typical Jersey boy obsessed only with his car, his apartment, his body, his family, girls… and porn. Even after he meets the girl of his dreams (Scarlett Johansson), he just can’t kick his porn addiction. I saw the film at SXSW and included it as one of my top films of the festival; it goes beyond typical romantic comedy film conventions. I won’t spoil the film, but JGL fans should know that the typical flair he brings to his performances definitely carries into his directing and writing talents.

Don Jon hits theaters on October 18th.
