Kanye West Performs “Black Skinhead” & “New Slaves” at the ‘Saturday Night Live’ Season Finale

Kanye West is getting closer to his June 18 album release date and thus continues to preview tracks at a series of events. Last night he was the musical guest of the season finale of Saturday Night Live, hosted this week by Ben Affleck.

Not only did Kanye West play the tracks “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves” (which was already projected around the globe on May 17) live, he also presented for the first time the red/red Nike Air Yeezy 2, which is apparently also coming out in the near future. More on that later.

UNDFTD x Leader Bike x Michael Chacon Fixed Gear Bikes

UNDFTD joins forces with San Diego’s Leader Bike and Los Angeles-based fixed-gear freestyle rider Michael Chacon on a set of unique bikes. The San Diego company takes care of the sponsoring for the bikes Chacon rides while the streetwear label sends some gear his way. Together the two brands customized a 735 track bike and a Hurricane freestyle bike. Reflective decals from UNDFTD line the frames and fork, giving the bikes an extra layer of detail. No word on any public release for the rides but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we hear more.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 in all red has been spotted on the feet of Kanye West. The sighting comes from his SNL performance, a set that came at the end of an incredible multi-media promotional weekend for Mr. West. Promising that the all red Nike Air Yeezy 2 would be showing up was baby-moms Kim Kardashian, who Instagrammed a sneak peek at the shoes next to what appears to be an advance copy of his upcoming Yeezus album. Nike Kobe 8 NSW Lifestyle LE Bright Citrus/Track Brown-Sail

For several of Nike's performance basketball models, they've slowly transitioned into the lifestyle realm through select reworkings. Much like the LeBron X NSW Lifestyle, the Kobe 8 NSW Lifestyle variation emerges as another off-court counterpart. Clad in a Mexican-blanket style upper, the clean silhouette is perhaps not as immediately recognizable as the little brother to the Kobe 8 relative to the LeBron X combo, but nevertheless offers some important design elements integrated. The shoe will be available starting June 1 at select NSW dealers.

Versus Versace has often yielded a unique addition to the iconic Versace house. The diffusion label has often been defined by its approach to creative under the elements of "innovation, flair and the unconventional." A look into the label's Spring/Summer 2013 campaign channels much of the brand's energy through a series of psychedelic and semi-realistic patterns, styled in unison top to bottom. However balance is not to be overlooked through some further monochromatic blacked out offerings as well.

He did not disappoint. With Yeezy season being in full effect, Kanye West brought his new music in the shape of Yeezus-cut "Black Skinhead" to the musical stage of the Saturday Night Live finale. Wearing a black-studded leather jacket and the upcoming all-red Nike Air Yeezy 2′s, Kanye screamed his lyrics with a live band in support. The song features a sample of Marilyn Manson’s Beautiful People”. He was accompanied by an impressive barrage of found imagery which deviated between rottweilers and price tags, including the phrase “Not For Sale."
