If you’ve been spending time exploring Nike‘s My Time is Now campaign we previewed last week, you might have discovered the interactive hidden tunnels designed to share the insights that today’s soccer stars want to pass along to tomorrow’s top footballers. But, of course with all of the strong and colorful personalities in today’s game, there are some more lighthearted messages woven in with the serious ones, including Manchester City’s prolific and controversial young striker’s, Mario Balotelli, submission. Featuring French player Mamdou Sakho and Argentine star Javier Pastore and set in a traditional barbershop, Balotelli walks in asking the barber for a style “to be remembered.” After trying out the iconic styles of the Brazilians Ronaldinho and Ronaldo, Colobian Carolos Valderrama, and even Chris Waddle, the City striker eventually nods in approval for his own trademark Mohawk.

Paired with the video release is Nike’s Barbershop App, which enables users to emulate their heroes’ styles on their own and share them with their friends, including “The Neymar,” “The Sakho,” and “The Ramos,” among others. The best user-submitted styles will also get a chance to visit one of six physical Nike Barbershop locations around the world, including Buenos Aires, Madrid, Mexico City, Milan and Paris where the latest styles can be fixed for real. A pop-up Nike Barbershop will also be featured in Warsaw during Europe’s major football tournament this summer.
