Boston-based DJ/producer Clinton Sparks is working on his upcoming album, and today he drops off his lead single "Gold Rush." Boasting an unsuspecting lineup which includes Macklemore, 2 Chainz and D.A. Wallach of Chester French, the track takes on a rock and roll feel as the three artists do their thing. Expect the single to appear on Sparks' forthcoming album Disco Ball & Chain, due out later this year.
We heard the original version on Hit-Boy's free project back in January when he dropped HITstory, however today to kick things off properly for his birthday, the renowned producer/emcee lets loose a bumping remix featuring 2 Chainz. Not to mention a visual to accompany the single to enhance things up a bit. Hit-Boy also has a studio album underway with Interscope supposedly due out later this year, stay tuned.
