For Summer 2012, Bape of course presents a new collaboration with G-Shock. We have seen many over the years and this season the brand once again worked on the classic DW-6900 watch and gave it a blue metallic effect upper. The dial comes in contrasting white and features the Bape head logo backlight. Look out for a release soon.

We recently saw FABRICK and Karimoku collaborate with Andy Warhol on a Camouflage Seats and in a similar form, A Bathing Ape have launched several furniture featuring their original BAPE Camo patterns. This collection includes single seater, 2 seater and 3 seater, with a choice of green, blue, and pink camo pattern for its cushions. On top of that, they have come up with a BAPE Camo Folding Table and Square Shelf to complement the seats. Both of those furniture is also available in the three camouflage patterns and will be available from Saturday, April 28th at BAPE GALLERY in Kyoto and rest of the BAPE STORES will receive orders from Thursday, May 3rd.

First previewed as part of the Bape Golden Week 2012 Collection, we take a closer look at the new Bape ABC Camo Short Umbrella. A nice accessory, that comes with just the right amount of details and also in the right size. Entirely covered in a black on black camo pattern, the design is not too intrusive. The umbrella is now in stock at Bape retailers.

A Bathing Ape introduces its latest timepiece via a TYPE-3 BAPEX installment in brushed metal and black. The chronograph watch features a predominantly silver metal construction with the exception of black accents that trace their origins to the three circles of the display chronograph, hour and minute hands, subtle BAPE embellishment, as well as a stand out solid black bezel. Retail is set at ¥41,790 JPY (approximately $520 USD). Availability is now offered through the A Bathing Ape online store and select chapters.
Shorter in length and in shades of black and grey, the latest model from A Bathing Ape‘s camouflage umbrellas tender to more convenient buyers. The portable men’s umbrella comes with a hooked handle and has the ‘A Bathing Ape’ logo blazoned on its neck. The short and stout ABC camo short umbrella can be found available at BAPE STORES globally.
Menswear collaboration project Mr. BATHING APE was set up by A Bathing Ape and United Arrows in Japan, striving to fill the need for a quality menswear with a contemporary twist. Their Spring/Summer 2012 offerings are now available and the collection is made up predominantly of tailored suits. Similar cuts are used on all of the jackets with three buttons being the unifying feature. Though some are accented by three waist pockets, and others maintain classic look with just two pockets. A variety of shirts are also available which can be matched with the above mentioned jackets or worn on its own. Lastly there are two styles of seersucker shorts, which can be styled together with their seersucker blazer. The whole collection is available at the United Arrows stores and on their online store at the moment.

After already having worked with Meister this year on a furniture collection, Bape continues to push into the home. Now they present a new collaborative line of furniture with Medicom Fabrick and Karimoku. Featuring again their iconic ABC Camo pattern, the collection includes a folding table, square shelves, a Hizikake chair, a Futarigake 2 Seater Sofa and a Nagaisu 3 Seater Sofa.
The furniture collection will release April 28, 2012, at the Bape Gallery.

Here is an interesting new mash-up between Bape, Medicom Toy Life Entertainment, known for their accessories collections, and the iconic art of Andy Warhol.
The Andy Warhol banana cushion, that is being produced by Medicom Toy Life Entertainment since a while already, gets the Bape camouflage treatment in three sizes and three colorways. Look out for a release towards the end of April 2012.

Produced in conjunction with Japanese retailer United Arrows, the Mr. Bathing Ape 2012 summer collection sees a much more relaxed approach to design and style this season. In this photoshoot we see, perhaps surprisingly, the first camo jacket from the Mr. Bathing Ape brand, available exclusively at the new BAPE store located within DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA, along with some casual checked shirts and jacket and short combos.
