Blu makes his return today, somewhat abruptly for a new visual for "Vanity." Any new Blu material is always a plus, so we're not complaining but it should be noted that the single dropped back around 2009. The visual interpretation finds two folks, presumably a couple, visualizing themselves through a mirror on a silky smooth retro tip. It parallels the jazzy ensemble quite nicely if we don't say so ourselves. And if you support the cause, be sure to get Blu's latest York album now through Nature Sounds.
Producer Shuko has recently released a newer version of his Sleepless album, which features the on-hand track, dubbed "Be Yourself." The positive entry is highlighted by verses from West Coast rapper Blu, who flows nicely over-top the upbeat instrumentation. After listening to "Be Yourself" below, you can then head here to check out Shuko's new The Awakening EP. Enjoy.
