Japanese brand Mad Hectic has released their new ‘Tour de France’ Jet Caps. Inspired by the iconic bicycle race, the cap comes in a white/red dot design, as well as green and yellow tonal versions, inspired by the various jerseys that are being handed out to the best of the Tour de France. The caps should now be available at Mad Hectic retailers.

Japanse publication SENSE has linked up with compatriot streetwear brand SWAGGER for a new capsule collection celebrating the magazine’s 100th issue. Inspired by sporting garb of old, the collaboration includes a Varsity Cap, Reversible Varsity Jacket and 3/4 Length Stadium Pants, each constructed of a combination of black chambray and striped fabric and featuring clean “SW” embroidered branding. The trio of collaborative releases is now available via flagship SWAGGER locations and through THE BLACKSENSE MARKET.

American designer Mark McNairy continues with his affinity for camouflage with the Smiley Face Camo Cap. In an almost ironic twist, the desert pattern is interrupted sporadically by tiny, yellow smiley faces that seem to be poking a bit of fun at a design base that has seemed to permeate everything from hats to outerwear to pants. The cap is available at Tokyo-based retailer nanamica for ¥8,400 JPY (approximately $105 USD).

DQM Hats Spring 2012

DQM has been gradually dropping the goods from their Spring 2012 collection and this time around they have headwear in the queue. There’s a little something for every cap enthusiast as we see a range consisting of camp caps, 5-panel and 6-panel snapbacks, plus snapback field caps. A nice use of various fabrics such as twill, denim, duck canvas, cotton ripstop and water-resistant microfiber have been utilized in the construction of the hats. These will be releasing at DQM, The General and their online store on April 27th.
