Cargo has embraced change by redefining the fashion tradeshow. The 2nd installment of Cargo will now feature a lifestlye pop-up shop. Open to the general public, brands will now be able to sell discounted inventory directly to consumers.
By creating an atmosphere filled with music, gifts, drinks and shopping, established brands will be delighted to move inventory and emerging brands will have a chance to generate a buzz for their fresh product.
Tickets (cash at the door): $10 for general admission, $15 for after party package for Monday night.

Sneaker Battle by Cargo
Cargo Tradeshow has just announced a custom sneaker battle to take place at the show January 19 and 20, 2009 at the St. Patrick’s Center in New York City. Check out some styles from the 2008 International Sneaker Battle champion, Rebel Aire. The Cargo team will select finalists to showcase their work during the two-day event and all participants attending the show will be able to vote for the 1st place winner. Finalist will be selected on the following criteria; originality, quality, cleanliness, design detail and custom packaging. The winning artist will be featured on Cargo’s monthly newsletter and website as well as a possible interview on Karmaloop TV.
