Disney x adidas Originals Superstar II Mickey X

Has any other brand collaborated with more sneaker companies than Disney?  With tag-team efforts ranging from Etnies to Reebok, the world's family media leader has covered all their bases (except for Nike), and here's a new Mickey Mouse x Three Stripes collabo.  The Disney x adidas Originals Superstar II Mickey X goes with the immortal Chicago-style palette and ends up looking like Kaws might have been involved thanks to the unique glove-shoe 'X' pattern on the forefoot.  Mickey appears none too happy to have been de-torso'd, but the face he's making on the tongue does indeed impart a bit of extra attitude to this design.  Click through to see more images and if you want to grab a pair, make haste to select adidas Originals accounts like Mr. R Sports.

W-Base x XLarge x Disney T-Shirts

In an interesting collaboration Tokyo bike shop W-Base has teamed up with XLarge and Disney on a series of t-shirts. Together they present the ‘Bike Ride Donald’ and ‘Bike Ride Goofy’ tees, each coming in overall three colorways. A release is scheduled for September 2nd, 2011, at XLarge stores and at W-Base.

Of course Supreme also presents new skate decks with their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. One of Disney’s most iconic characters makes an appearance on the new decks – Snow White. A bit of an ironic image to go onto a skate deck, but Supreme is always up for something new and different. Look out for these with all the other new goods, this coming Saturday. The decks come in three colorways.

You have to love or hate CLOT for these kind of things. As they continue to work with Disney on various projects, Mickey Mouse is at the moment the core theme, as we have seen with the Travelling Mickey Exhibition.

In terms of product, you will see the release of the new CLOT Dynasty ‘Mickey Mouse Patch’ Denim this week. Featuring overall 11 patches, all with the iconic cartoon character, as well as a large print on the back, along with added studs and embroidery details, we can safely say that much more would not have fitted onto the jeans. CLOT will release them on August 6th, 2011.

CLOT x Disney 'Travelling Mickey' Exhibition- Shanghai

The CLOT x Disney ‘Man in the Forest’ Travelling Mickey exhibition recently had its first stop in Shanghai. CLOT asked a series of artists and designers to present custom versions of the iconic cartoon character. The line-up of participating artists includes Dr. Romanelli, Madsaki, Andre, Cassette Playa, Mr. Cartoon, Eric So, Mr. Azuma, CLOT themselves and other outstanding artists.

Disney x CLOT x MINDstyle 3-Eyed Mickey

The only major designer toy exposition in Asia, the Taipei Toy Festival is an annual event celebrating the link between art and toys. This year for the very first time, Hong Kong-based street fashion brand CLOT will be appearing as an exhibitor to present a series of action figures produced in collaboration with Disney and MINDstyle. One figurine scheduled to make its debut is this 3-eyed Mickey toy that comes in two distinct colorways. Priced at $132 USD for an 8″ version and $7,670 for a 5’3″ version (mono colorway only available in 8″ version), the figurines will be available for purchase at the CLOT booth during the festival.
