DQM Summer 2012 Caps & Hats

DQM presents its latest range of caps and hats for Spring/Summer 2012, shortly after having released their seasonal lookbook. This release includes a color block water resistant Supplex™ nylon five panel camp cap (seen here above), a five panel snapback cap with chenille letter patch and mesh back, and a boonie hat in tiger stripe camouflage and navy/white hickory stripe. The new hats are available now at DQM on the Bowery, The Vans DQM General and in their online store.

DQM Spring/Summer 2012 Collection Lookbook

The Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook for New York’s DQM presents an array of images conveying a freewheeling vibe, with the guys enjoying drinks, posing with miscellaneous sports equipments, tools and weapons (that’s Gino Iannucci with a switchblade), and crafting sock puppets out of DQM-branded socks. The looks on display feature DQM’s accessible and wearable goods, made up of essentials including logo tees, twill shorts, chinos and woven shirts, plus a wide assortment of snapbacks and camp caps. The color palette is squarely in the understated range (look elsewhere for pastels or neon hues), maintaining DQM’s regular-guy aesthetic. The items are available now at DQM’s online store.

Taking a photo booth-like approach to the set of imagery, the photos display an array of tees, snapbacks, button-downs, trousers, lightweight outerwear and more, each with understated DQM branding and a decidedly streetwear-inspired aesthetic. DQM Cap Collection Spring 2012Fresh from releasing the DQM for VANS Harrington Lo Capsule Collection, DQM will be launching six new cap styles to complement the kicks. Adjustable caps are rapidly becoming everyone’s favorite these days and DQM made sure that fans have plenty to choose from. There are three snapback caps, two 5 panel camp caps, and one 4 panel duck canvas field cap making up the drop. In particular the 5 panel camp caps come in cotton ripstop and water resistant nylon microfiber options. All of the caps are detailed with DQM woven labels, leather label, and embroideries for a minimal branding. Check back to the DQM stores and online store tomorrow to pick up any of these caps.

Behind us are the days when Dave’s Quality Meat would get together to do up Swoosh styled classics, with the New York skate shop reorienting their output more towards the core skate crowd over the past couple of seasons. Key in that process has been their ongoing partnership with Vans, one that has resulted so far in the opening of the Vans DQM General store and plenty of great lowkey collabos. Next in line is the colorful DQM x Vans Harrington Lo Madero pack shown here, a trio of slim silhouettes bearing some bright spring colors along with the DQM x Vans General Store logos down into the plaid insoles. DQM Hats Spring 2012

DQM has been gradually dropping the goods from their Spring 2012 collection and this time around they have headwear in the queue. There’s a little something for every cap enthusiast as we see a range consisting of camp caps, 5-panel and 6-panel snapbacks, plus snapback field caps. A nice use of various fabrics such as twill, denim, duck canvas, cotton ripstop and water-resistant microfiber have been utilized in the construction of the hats. These will be releasing at DQM, The General and their online store on April 27th.

Bundled together for release this weekend is the new Harrington Lo Madero Collection from for . Relatively identical to the VANS Madero though somewhat more “refined”, the Harrington Lo bears a herringbone cotton canvas upper, plaid cotton lining, as well as a color-block siped outsole. All to come with a VANS DQM General logo imprinted in gold foil on the insole and leather heel tab. The collection also comprises of polo shirt and socks in matching colorway. All with the branding as well. Finally, as a complement, a pair of tortoise shell VANS Spicoli sunglasses, imprinted with The General marking in gold, will be available too. In Spring/Summer colors of red, navy, or green, the Harrington Lo Capsule Collection from DQM for VANS collaboration will be for sale starting this Friday, April 27th, through The and DQM online store.

DQM for Vans Harrington Lo Pack

DQM for Vans Harrington Lo Pack

Manhattan’s DQM has collaborated with longtime partner Vans for an exclusive new silhouette to be introduced this spring. The New York retailer’s own unique take on the Vans Madero, the Harrington Lo features an upper of herringbone cotton canvas alongside plaid cotton lining, a tonal white rubber sole and custom striped and checked laces. Complete with collaborative branding and set to be available in red, navy and green colorways, the collection will also include trios of matching socks and polos, as well as a pair of the Vans Spicoli tortoise shell sunglasses. Set for a release this Friday, April 27, the Harrington Lo will retail for $70 USD while the socks, polos and sunglasses will retail for $7 USD, $45 USD and $20 USD, respectively.

DQM will be releasing a new shoe, the Harrington Lo Madero, in collaboration with Vans this Friday 4/27 exclusively at The Vans DQM General and in the DQM online store. The shoe will be available in red, navy and green herringbone cotton canvas with a plaid cotton lining, color block siped sole and gold ‘New York’ print at the leather heel tab. The shoes come with custom striped and checked laces with the Vans DQM General logo printed in gold foil on the insole.

This release also includes a custom DQM for Vans pique cotton polo shirt in three corresponding colors with The General logo embroidered on the chest, color block socks with print on the foot, and a pair of Vans Spicoli sunglasses in tortoise shell with The General branding in gold on the arm.
