Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection has a military theme through-out the entire line. The same holds true for their accessories this season, yet the high fashion house adds their very own twist to things. The new military belt comes in navy and military green canvas with heavy beads decoration on the entire belt. The belts are now available from Restir.
New York based CXXVI shows off the first of several in-between-season pieces for 2010. What you’re looking at is a hand forged steel bottle opener necklace. Done the old fashioned way, the opener is “heated in a coal forge and hand hammered on a 130 year old anvil” – and then coated with beeswax to preserve the appearance. Rustic, sturdy and made in the USA. Crack a cold one.
During Paris fashion week Jeremy Scott hosted a special showroom event to showcase his upcoming adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. Retail partners, friends and family, including Karl Lagerfeld, Sarah Colette, Mark the Cobrasnake and many others rolled through the venue to check out the new line.
After having worked with Kaws previously, Kiehl’s has worked for Earth Day 2010 with Jeff Koons, Pharrell Williams, Julianne Moore and surfer Malia Jones on the Acai Damage-Protecting Mist in the form of collectors bottles, for which they each contributed the bottle label design. When it comes to sunglasses Linda Farrow is never too shy and thus ends up working with a whole bunch of enfants terribles from the fashion industry with the results being special to say the least. We already previewed some sunglasses from the Jeremy Scott collection, today we add the new bones model, which perfectly matches the Flintstones theme of the designer for Spring/Summer 2010.
