Founded by the brothers Kenichi and Kenji Shiotani in 1995, Warehouse Denim is globally known for their extremely detailed and authentic denim work wear. Traveling through the world, the Shiotani brothers are constantly searching for vintage weave treatments as well as one of its kind models, transforming them into styles fit for the 21stcentury. Combining Y-3´s inspiration and Warehouse´s technique and weaving qualities, an exclusive capsule collection is being launched: NICE TO MEET YOU, featuring three distinct men’s pant styles in indigo blue. The Denim Basic features a 5 pocket straight leg jean cut. The Denim Drop features a voluminous style and a low cut crutch. For the Denim Statement a 1930s denim banner was taken apart, the wrap and weft threads were removed and reworked into a distinctive fabric solution.
All three models will be available in Y-3 flagship stores, online Y-3 online store and at select retailers worldwide from mid January 2013.
American label Paige Denim has put forward a latest video preview titled “STITCH X STITCH” for 2012. A captivating stop motion presentation allows an insight into this season’s range, inspired by the “vast depths and infinite possibilities of the immense blue sea.” In addition, the brand’s processes as well as the keen attention to detail attached to each pair of jeans are also on display. American-milled (a first) washed and raw denim is encompassed in the collection, alongside a variety of vivid and tonal blue hues. The video is an artistic representation of the manufacturing approach from Paige with Southern Californian characteristics and a genuine inclination towards quality denim.
We take a look at the Levi’s Commuter Fall 2012 Collection. Having the active city biker in mind, the collection that launched in late 2011 was very well received and continues to impress with a casual, yet functional, set of goods every season.
Levi’s keeps the collection tight and on point, with the new Fall line only consisting of 4 pieces - a Work Shirt, a Trucker Jacket, a 511 denim pant, and a 511 khaki chino. Just like the previous collections, each product is made with technical materials, making sure that you are good under any circumstances on your bike – reflective panels, waterproof/repellant materials, it is once again the little details that impress.
Look out for the collection to arrive at retailers soon.
