We once again went out on the streets to shoot some inspirational street styles for you. If there is one thing that becomes more and mor the habit, then it certainly is heavy mixing of different styles – Barbour Jacket, Jordan sneakers, Vuitton wallet, Nixon watch. That is something entirely normal today and we enjoy the heavy cross over of different styles, price categories and looks.

Today we start a new series entitled Highsnobiety Illustrated. Together with Warsaw based artist Olka Osadzinska we worked on this first series of illustrations. We present 10 of our favorite sneakers that have dropped since the beginning of February. This is by no means a top 10 list, but more of a selection of visually appealing shoes that came out in the past month.

Dropping later this week, Jordan Brand debuts its new Jordan Son of Mars hybrid sneaker in the ‘Pop Art’ edition. Inspired by Pop Art, yet previously called ‘Olympic’, the sneaker is very busy, featuring multiple colors on the upper, as well as multiple patterns and elements of several iconic Jordan sneakers. We take a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 4 ‘New York Knicks’. Featuring a mostly black upper, the trademark colors of the NYC basketball team are featured on the mid-sole, outersole, all plastic parts of the sneaker and all tags, as well as the lining. Air Jordan 1 Retro High Dave White To Launch February 2012

Dave White’s first Air Jordan 1 Retro design was a masterpiece. His American flag-inspired shoes caused a stir at All-Star Weekend, and he mentored kids at Inglewood High School as part of his work with Jordan and WINGS for the Future.

White and Jordan are back again, and the result is the Air Jordan 1 High DW. These kicks feature the iconic Jordan black/sport red-white-cement grey colorway, and even bring in the elephant print on the forefoot laces-strap.

But it’s White’s trademark paint splatter and brush strokes that make this shoe stand out. The brand has also put together a Jordan DW WINGS crew T-shirt to commemorate the release.

The Dave White Air Jordan 1 Retro will be available in North America, Europe and China on February 11, 2012. In celebration of All-Star Week and WINGS, and another run will drop on February 24.

Last night Spike Lee presented US President Barack Obama with a pair of Jordan Spiz’ikes. The shoes, a pair of Spiz’ike ‘Boredeaux (out February 2012) came packaged in a custom brown wood box emblazoned with the presidential seal. Do you think we’ll see Barack wearing these?
