Jay Z & Kanye West Ni**as In Paris | Video

Kanye and were known to perform “Ni**as in Paris” multiple times in one night during last year’s blockbuster “” tour, and now fans have the opportunity to hit replay as many times as they could possibly want with the release of the video for the smash song. Filmed during the duo’s final tour stop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last December, the clip is nothing short of a kaleidoscopic wonderland, featuring dizzying visuals to go along with the energy of the song and the electricity of the adoring crowd. It’s scattershot and frenetic — wait, is that Will Ferrell from “Blades of Glory”? — with an abundance of prowling feline imagery and gothic architecture. Oh, and lasers. Lots of lasers. Just disclosed earlier on in the week, Jay and Ye stick true to their word in finally dropping off the much-anticipated video for hit single "N****s In Paris," which also as predicted, highlights live throw-down footage of the hyped anthem. Upon being performed multiple times (understatement) at virtually every stop of their celebrated Watch The Throne Tour, the track has easily become one of the standout pieces from the project, so much so that it officially warranted double platinum status as of this week — a first or Hov and Yeezy as a duo. The only question people have is if the visuals can even come close to comparing to the highly-entertaining footage for "Otis." Well, we'll let you formulate your own opinion by pressing play above. Let us know what you think.

Kanye West to make new short film in the Middle East

If you have enjoyed Kanye West's 2010 artistic short film Runaway, then you will enjoy following news. According to The New York Observer, Kanye West has set his sights on a similar short film. Apparently, the piece is shot in the Middle East and will involve local municipal officials and film companies.

Sources tell The Observer that Mr. West sent members of his team to meet with film companies and government officials based out of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha, Qatar to explore the idea of a production. A number of local municipal officials and film companies are said to be engaged in what was characterized as a heated bidding war for the contracts involved in bringing Mr. West’s vision to life.

“In Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha all of the film initiatives are government controlled,” one source involved in the talks explained. “A bidding war is going on between various government entities and private investors to fund the film. There’s pretty intense rivalry here between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Qatar. They all want to claim the film as their own and take credit for generating the publicity.”

Stay tuned as more details are likely to emerge real soon.
