Lana Del Rey – Carmen

Lana Del Rey just shared this video for her track "Carmen" off her debut album Born To Die. Although it was uploaded to her official YouTube page we aren't for sure if it will serve as the official video for the single as the songstress is known to create 'unofficial' clips for her songs. The visual features some behind-the-scenes footage of the songstress combined with a few old film clips mixed in. Check out the video up top and enjoy.

Lana Del Rey – Goodbye Kiss (Kasabian Cover for Radio 1 Live Lounge)

Back in January, Lana Del Rey stopped by the Maida Vale studios in London where she recorded a session for Radio 1’s Live Lounge during her stay in London. The session has now been made available. The footage above captures the rising singer covering Kasabian’s "Goodbye Kiss." Definitely worth checking out.

A$AP Rocky talks Lana Del Rey collaboration, announces songs with Santigold & Pharrell

While the whole (digital) world has been disappointed by the removal of the A$AP Rocky / Lana Del Rey-collaboration "Ridin'" from the tracklist of The Kickdrums' Follow the Leader mixtape, the Harlem rapper has initiated the promotional run for the tune which is set to be featured on his full-length debut. In a conversation with Billboard's hip-hop blog The Juice, the self-proclaimed "Pretty M*therf*ck*r" has stated that mutual admiration was key to make the song happen:

You didn't know about me being a huge Lana Del Rey fan? That's all I kept talking about all winter. I first had a crush on her from seeing her on the Internet-- I fell in love with her voice the first time I heard it. I probably heard it in July, August for the first time, I think it was "Blue Jeans." And from then on, I'm like…I love her! Mind you, we never even spoke to each other, and then in Complex [magazine], when she said I was her favorite rapper, I was like, 'Oh fuck no, man. I gotta work with her! My dream girl acknowledges me!'

The official followup to his highly successful LiveLoveA$AP mixtape is likely to boast even more big names.

"I'm also working with Santigold, Pharrell, Hit-Boy -- a few people, man. It's getting crazy," he says. For his collaboration with Hit-Boy, who produced The Throne's "N***as in Paris" and Kanye West's new banger "Theraflu," Rocky says he doesn't utilize his "usual flow that everybody's so familiar with. I went kind of hard, but it was cool, it was easy. You'll see."

This sounds promising to say the least.

John Mayer covers Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games”

While we've grown accustomed to hearing remixes of Lana Del Rey's recent work, covers are a bit more scarce. Here we have guitarist/singer-songwriter John Mayer giving a go at the pouty songstress' heralded track "Video Games." Mayer doesn't even utter a word, but lets his guitar do the talking for the melodic re-up. Enjoy the cover below, as we await more drops from his forthcoming album.

The Kickdrums featuring A$AP Rocky & Lana Del Rey – Ridin’ (Snippet)

While the talks over Lana Del Rey and Tyler, The Creator linking together for a collaboration have had our readers going into deep discussion, lo and behold, a track with LDR surfaces with none other than Harlem's own A$AP Rocky. Although we don't have the full track, from the snippet above fans can hear Lana singing out the chorus and Rocky lay his vocals over The Kickdrums-produced beat. The tune has been given the title "Ridin'" and is set to appear on The Kickdrums upcoming mixtape Follow The Leaders, which is due out tomorrow, April 3, at noon. The mixtape will not only include the full track with Lana Del Rey and A$AP Rocky, but will also have features from Freddie Gibbs and Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire. Check out the preview of the track accompanied with some footage of Rocky chilling out in the studio and you can grab the mixtape when it drops tomorrow from LiveMixtapes.

Lana Del Rey to collaborate with Tyler, the Creator

A rather unlikely collaboration is likely to happen in the near future as two of the arguably most talked about music artists right now, Lana Del Rey and Tyler, the Creator, have expressed mutual interest to work together. The pair recently took to their official Twitter pages to spread the news. Tyler wrote:

Just Found Out Lana Del Ray Wanted To Work With Me. Had No Idea. If Your Reading This Im Down, I Have Pretty Instrumentals

Ms. Del Rey then later replied and told the OFWGKTA general he was "Number 1" in her eyes. This comes just days after Odd Future came to the UK to perform a series of shows. Stay tuned as more details are likely to emerge soon.
