The Louis Vuitton leopard stole has been one of their most popular accessories for a couple of years now. As part of their Pre-Fall 2012 Collection they present two new colorways of it. Nice fading colors are used on the upper, of course entirely covered in the leopard pattern, just like in the past. Look out for these in the coming months at Vuitton stores.

The bags are furnished with the typical amenities for your day on the course — room for a full set of clubs, interior organization, outer pockets for stashing necessities like balls, gloves, towels, or the keys to your Bentley. An LV golf bag will set you back around $12,000 USD, or $13,500 USD — depending on whether or not you’d like the Monogram or Damier shell. That price does not include a personal caddy of course.

Known for their quality and design, their products were widely enjoyed by people from various backgrounds and nations. Louis Vuitton has compiled their top 100 trunks in a hardcover book called 100 Legendary Trunks. To keep in touch with the digital consumers, Louis Vuitton have created an iPad App of the same name. The interactive contents allow the viewers an insight into each of the 100 extraordinary trunks that were commissioned. This App can be downloaded at iTunes, and a preview can be seen below in the short video.

Louis Vuitton Cup 2012 Footwear Collection

Following our overview look at the Louis Vuitton Cup Collection for Spring 2012, we focus now on the footwear portion of the range. Similar to the collection at large, the shoes carry an overt nautical feel inspired by sailing. Two styles are essentially variations on the classic deck shoe, and the third has a silhouette reminiscent of a chukka boot. The latter is built with a canvas upper, leather trim and rubber sole unit. The deck shoes comprise a low-profile loafer in a navy or white colorway, as well as the navy calf leather sneaker with chunky rubber outsole. The shoes all use Idrotech leather, resistant to water, salt and sun, and breathable Air-Tech technology for enhanced air circulation.

A while ago we presented the new Louis Vuitton Cup 2012 Collection. The sports line by LV, takes its inspiration from sailing and presents modern interpretations of Vuitton classics with new functionality and an overall younger take.

Here we take a look at the shoes from the collection. The line includes Nubuck Calf Leather Loafer with driving outer sole, a Calf Leather Sneaker, which reminds a little of visvim the Sneaker Boot, seen here above, our favorite in the line.

We once again went out on the streets to shoot some inspirational street styles for you. If there is one thing that becomes more and mor the habit, then it certainly is heavy mixing of different styles – Barbour Jacket, Jordan sneakers, Vuitton wallet, Nixon watch. That is something entirely normal today and we enjoy the heavy cross over of different styles, price categories and looks.

Louis Vuitton x Stooki x Kusama @ Tate Modern Recap

Indie European jewelry and apparel label Stooki recently held a special event at the UK’s Tate Modern in conjunction with Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Dubbed “Infinite Kusama” and occurring alongside the retrospective exhibition of Kusama’s works, on display through June, the unique project brought together young people from the ages of 15 to 25 to interact with The Hello Cube, a digital installation created by design duo Hellicar & Lewis and inspired by Kusama’s own The Passing Winter. Reacting to both physical activity and social media, the installation featured a dancing display of color, movement and light, meant to reflect the signature visual forms found throughout Kusama’s work.

Designed for sailing enthusiasts as well as urbanites seeking a nautical style, the products in the new Louis Vuitton Cup collection are now available in ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories. Each line boasts technical subtleties inspired by the world of sailing: water and salt resistant, ease of movement and finely-worked finishing. Five styles of jackets are available – from the sleeveless windbreak to the parka as well as an ultra-light model made in down, perfect to fight against the cold. The trousers and the shorts have undergone a waterproofing treatment and are extremely lightweight making them just as diverse and utilitarian as the rest of the collection. The Louis Vuitton Cup signature is perfectly integrated into all of the products.
