MellowHigh, the self-titled collaboration album between Odd Future's MellowHype and Domo Genesis, is scheduled to drop this Halloween. We got our first taste of what to expect from the OF affair a few days back with the Thelonious Martin-produced cut "In The Meantime," and now the group gives us another peak into project with a snippet to the song "Yu." While, a song and a half isn't quite enough to really grasp exactly what MellowHigh has in store for us, it sounds very promising to say the least.
Having last supplied fans with tracks on both this year's and last's 4/20 "holidays," MellowHype and Domo Genesis' collaborative group Mellowhigh now reveals the artwork for their self-titled debut project. Looking to get their album's mastering and final edits done soon, the trio also went on to share that the project will surface on Halloween, October 31. MellowHype has joined forces with Seattle-based Ebbets Field Flannels on a vintage inspired baseball jersey. The jersey features the group’s name done in a color scheme akin to the Baltimore Orioles set against a grey background.
Take a look at the teaser video above and look for them at the Golf Wang Store located at 410 N. Fairfax in Los Angeles beginnings February 1.
The Human Serviette, Nardwuar, sets his sights on Odd Future’s MellowHype. He got the chance to interview the duo at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver. The three discuss cooking steaks, bacon, and sex.
Mellowhype is here to release the official video for “Break,” a single off of their most recent album Numbers.
