Kanye West Teases the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red/Red

Kanye West Teases the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red/Red

We know, it’s a lot of Kanye West news today, but with the artist’s Saturday Night Live performance last night, a lot of news have been unveiled. Aside from playing two new songs, and unveiling what looks to be his new album title “Yeezus”, Kanye was also wearing the red/red Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaker, the first new colorway after the official two colors, that released in the summer of 2012.

We will of course keep you posted about the release of the sneaker. It would be a nice surprise of these would come out along with the album and in terms of timing it would also be right, compared to previous releases.

Nike Roshe Run FB “Orange Leopard”

Nike Roshe Run FB Orange Leopard

When one might think that the animal pattern trend has come to an end, it reappears again in a multitude of upcoming releases by Nike. We just recently previewed the Nike Air Max 1 “Orange Leopard” and “Blue Leopard” and today we get a first look at the upcoming Roshe Run FB “Leopard”.

It does not get much bolder, with the entire upper of the orange sneaker being covered in a leopard pattern. They kept it tonal with the outer sole, lining and laces.

Look out for a release in the coming months.

Nike Barkley Posite Max Metallic Silver/Gamma Blue

By mixing a metallic silver Foamposite shell with a gamma blue-speckled black nubuck upper, Nike has been able to one-up themselves with the latest edition of their coveted Barkley Posite Max. The splatter print that covers the shoe is just the right touch as we approach the hot summer months. The shoe is expected to hit Nike retailers and nike.com on June 1 with a price tag of $235 USD.

Nike Lunar Pegasus 89 – First Look

nike-lunar-peg-89-navy-pink-orange-3-det-1

It appears Nike has been digging into the vault lately, and their latest find is the Lunar Pegasus 89. After rediscovering this classic, Nike gave it a face lift via an all new blue, crimson, beige and yellow colorway, an eclectic look that the designers over at Nike HQ managed to impressively pull off. Taking design hints from numerous Nike classics, the Pegasus is a standout design, and one I for one would love to see more of. The unique construction of these sneakers lends itself well to color-blocking, opening a lot of doors for special editions and just outright intriguing colorways. No news on when this Lunar sneak will hit the market, but click back soon to Modern Notoriety for release info. More photos after the jump.

Nike KD V – Orange/Navy PE

kd

Another rare glimpse of what will probably never hit stores, this Nike KD V features a never before seen Orange/Navy colorway. An interesting combo, this colorway sees more than just some new color-blocking, but instead features a never before seen explosive camo upper. Set atop a navy outsole with a navy swoosh and lining, these rare kicks are something I wish would actually hit retail stores. With the approaching release of the KD VI, it’s assumed that very few new V’s will be released. These would be a dope addition, but don’t hold your breath. A more detailed look after the jump.
