We know, it’s a lot of Kanye West news today, but with the artist’s Saturday Night Live performance last night, a lot of news have been unveiled. Aside from playing two new songs, and unveiling what looks to be his new album title “Yeezus”, Kanye was also wearing the red/red Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaker, the first new colorway after the official two colors, that released in the summer of 2012.
We will of course keep you posted about the release of the sneaker. It would be a nice surprise of these would come out along with the album and in terms of timing it would also be right, compared to previous releases.
Nike Sportswear is back at it and this time around they have concocted the beautiful Kobe 8 Lifestyle “LE”. This release is following up with the previous Lebron lifestyle sneaker that recently surfaced and these Kobe’s look just as good, if not better. A brilliant textiled upper covers the majority of this shoe and the signature heel cup has been transformed into a premium leather. WIth Kobe and Lebron both having their own lifestyle shoe, could we possibly see a Durant version? Back with another Lunar inspired sneaker, Nike is here to present the Lunarflash+, a unique yet classic design offered here in a tasteful “Pure Platinum” and “Total Crimson” colorway. Featuring an interesting textured/woven mesh upper color-blocked into platinum, navy blue and black blocks, this is a very simple but bold look. With strong accents of Crimson via the tag, insole/liner and via the upper half of the two-toned Lunarlon sole, the Lunarflash+ is really something to see. These are a great look for casual kickbacks or intense workouts, and thankfully they’re available now. More photos after the jump.
With an onslaught of “Leopard” releases in the past few weeks, it seems Nike has dubbed this pattern the “chosen one” for the spring/summer/fall 2013 line-up. Previously hitting the Air Max 1, today we catch a glimpse of this quick colorway on the widely popular Roshe Run. Featuring a bold Orange Leopard upper, this is truly a bold look for the instant-classic Roshe chassis. Set atop a yellow Roshe sole this colorway will be sure to keep any and all eyes planted firmly on your feet. Set off nicely by a mint green “swoosh” on the toe box, this is truly an eye-catching release. No official release date yet, but click back over to Modern Notoriety for any and all future info on these Leopard fast kicks. More photos after the jump.
Bo’s back and he’s brought some sick trainers along with him. These Hybrid trainers represent Raider Nation. Coated with a wolf grey upper and hits of black throughout the rest of the shoe, this is truly a classic look. A cracked midsole along with “Bo Knows” straps make this Trainer even more visually appealing. If you’re feeling this QS sneaker make sure you head over to Concepts May 25th to grab your pair for retail. More Photos After The Jump
When one might think that the animal pattern trend has come to an end, it reappears again in a multitude of upcoming releases by Nike. We just recently previewed the Nike Air Max 1 “Orange Leopard” and “Blue Leopard” and today we get a first look at the upcoming Roshe Run FB “Leopard”.
It does not get much bolder, with the entire upper of the orange sneaker being covered in a leopard pattern. They kept it tonal with the outer sole, lining and laces.
By mixing a metallic silver Foamposite shell with a gamma blue-speckled black nubuck upper, Nike has been able to one-up themselves with the latest edition of their coveted Barkley Posite Max. The splatter print that covers the shoe is just the right touch as we approach the hot summer months. The shoe is expected to hit Nike retailers and nike.com on June 1 with a price tag of $235 USD.
It appears Nike has been digging into the vault lately, and their latest find is the Lunar Pegasus 89. After rediscovering this classic, Nike gave it a face lift via an all new blue, crimson, beige and yellow colorway, an eclectic look that the designers over at Nike HQ managed to impressively pull off. Taking design hints from numerous Nike classics, the Pegasus is a standout design, and one I for one would love to see more of. The unique construction of these sneakers lends itself well to color-blocking, opening a lot of doors for special editions and just outright intriguing colorways. No news on when this Lunar sneak will hit the market, but click back soon to Modern Notoriety for release info. More photos after the jump.
Another rare glimpse of what will probably never hit stores, this Nike KD V features a never before seen Orange/Navy colorway. An interesting combo, this colorway sees more than just some new color-blocking, but instead features a never before seen explosive camo upper. Set atop a navy outsole with a navy swoosh and lining, these rare kicks are something I wish would actually hit retail stores. With the approaching release of the KD VI, it’s assumed that very few new V’s will be released. These would be a dope addition, but don’t hold your breath. A more detailed look after the jump.
