The Nike SB Dunk Mid is a sneaker that sits at a rare height for the Dunk range, a height that exists only in the Nike SB subcategory. That height is this time outfitted with ripstop nylon for a new release that’s starting to trickle into stateside shops. Between both the materials and the colors the shoe is a pretty uniform affair-the aforementioned nylon is all over the upper and things are kept strictly to photo blue in terms of colors. Nike SB Dunk Holiday 2013 Preview

A day after looking into the crystal ball and finding new Nike SB release for fall 2013, we jump forward one quarter to see Swoosh skateboarding’s styles to wrap up the year.  Coming up in the fourth quarter are at least eleven upcoming Nike SB Dunks, a list highlighted by Todd Bratrud’s ‘Send Help’ sequel and the royal/camo Made for Skate Mids.  The orange and red edition with soft blue laces and sole makes for a fascinating entry at the lowtop level, so you’ll want to check out the entire spread in more images below, then be sure to check back with Sneaker News regularly for updates and release information.

Nike SB Dunk – Fall 2013 Preview

We get a peak at the Fall lineup for Nike Skateboarding which appears to go with some clean design schemes later on in the year. The Dunk lineup in particular goes with some simplistic designs that focus on quality and color appointment as their selling point. The Dunk Hi is the lone two-tone example with a teal and yellow make-up, while both the low and mid versions of the shoe go with an off-color toe to add some panache. The three examples of the shoe all feature suede uppers with white midsoles. As we near closer to the fall, color schemes are always up for change, but as currently slated do you like the colorways being pushed out by Nike SB?

Nike SB Dunk Ripstop – Photo Blue

Nike SB goes a different route with a very unique Ripstop Dunk Mid. The material is used for 100% of the upper in a blue hue and definitely gives the shape of the shoe a slightly different look from what we normally see. This version of the mid includes the horizontal strap and the outsole and midsole are decked out in an all white finish. You can catch these at some select Nike SB shops like Dissent Skateshop.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Photo Blue Ripstop

This Nike SB Dunk Mid colorway is one whose materials seem a bit at odds with the colorway. A ripstop pair is one that you’d probably get the most use out of for the winter months, but the clean blue and white colorway in place definitely looks like a spring time affair. Either way they’re here now, finally making their way into Nike SB accounts after we got our first peek way back in October of 2012. Nike SB Dunk Mid “Ostrich” – Summer 2013

The Nike SB Dunk Low adds back in the high ankle strap as well as a fancy new ostrich print to go along with a unique colorway. The upper gets hit with multiple colors ranging from black, to burnt orange, to deep red, and everything is tied together by a sherbet midsole and laces. The controversial mid has long been searching for its identity amongst the SB Dunk lineup, and this color option provides a change of pace for fans of the high and low models. Nike SB Dunk Mid – Black – Brown – Tan

Nike SB Dunk Mid Black Brown Tan

What would happen if you used a velcro strap to bring together several different earthy Dunk Low SB colorways?  It turns out the answer is a Nike SB Dunk Mid, as we see a new edition with plenty of connections to the Swoosh Skateboarding legacy ready for the first half of next year.  These new Dunk Mid SBs have an earthy build with browns and black reminiscent of such styles as this year’s controversial ‘Black and Tan’, 2007′s Joe Strummer Lows (the ‘After’ edition, in particular) or the ‘Embarcadero’ Mids that dropped that same December.  Those three roughly triangulate the finished look of this SS13 drop, and you can see exactly what that means thanks to more images after the jump below.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Midnight Fog Available

The Nike SB Dunk Mid continues its caught in the weather palettes (and also continues to play the neutral role amongst its big and littler brothers), following up the tumultuous thunder colored pair with the midnight fog here. You’ll notice that now that the sneaker has actually arrived it’s got some small differences from that catalog preview, namely the previously speckled looking sole has been cleaned out for a more straightforward gum style set up. Nike SB Dunk Mid – Midnight Fog – Gum
