We’re used to seeing older styles from Nike getting the Vintage treatment, which was why it was a bit of a surprise to see the Toki recently receive it. Originally released in 2008, the vulcanized chukka is seen here in an off-white canvas upper with a matching Swoosh. The midsole gets dirty here with a little black wash to complete the look. These are now available at size?

Nike Air Safari VNTG – Fall 2012

If you would’ve asked someone if they’d still wear the Nike Air Safari in 25 years back in 87, they’d probably look at you crazy. But little did people realize that anything Tinker Hatfield touched, would later become an iconic relic within Nike archives. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the classic Air Safari and to complement the release, Nike has added a VNTG effect for a more ‘Original’ Feel. Only on a few rare occasions in the past has Nike attempted a collaboration with multiple parties and Tom Sachs‘ SPACE MISSION: MARS was just such. Staffers at the exhibition, currently ongoing in New York City, received a pairs of special Cole Haan brogue wingtip shoes. But not just any wingtips, these are specifically made for the event and features pebble grain leather with a subtle trace of the Nike Swoosh on the side. Embedded on the leather outsole were rubber portions in the forms of the Nike Waffle treads as well. In the meantime, Tom Sachs’ SPACE MISSION: MARS exhibition along with his NIKECraft Collection are open to public starting today at the Park Avenue Armory. Nike Air Foamposite Pro – Metallic Silver – Crimson

This week kicked off with the “Gold Medal” Nike Air Foamposite One that is set to debut in August. Now another Foamposite has surfaced, that originally debuted at the Penny x Las Vegas event back in 2011. The colorway may look familiar if you own a pair of the original Foamposite Silver Pro’s, but this version has been given a ‘Crimson’ take which is something new for the Foamposite series. Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” – Surprise Re-Stock at 21 Mercer

Knowing full well the reactions they will receive, Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer did something quite intriguing this morning. A handful of unsuspecting shoppers walked into the store and found a lone Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy sitting on the shelf. Yes, the store secretly restocked its inventory of the prized edition, the same ones that have caused such upheavals across the country just some months ago, overnight. No announcements, nor was there any email, tweets, text, and etc… Employees at 21 Mercer wanted a release much like how it was decades ago, when stores would simply put new sneakers out on display. At the same time, it is also a way to reward their staunchest supporters, who would swing by the store on a daily basis. Unfortunately, within an hour of its release, the store emptied out its entire stock. But do expect the store to repeat similar unannounced re-releases of other highly sought after editions from now on.

Now these are really cool. For the launch of the Tom Sachs NikeCraft Collection these special pairs of Mission Control Shoes were created together with Cole Haan. Classic wingtip brogues with Swoosh, but unfortunately these are not for sale.

Nike Air Max 1 – Fall 2012 Preview

Overkill Berlin has given us a sneak peek at the upcoming Air Max 1 colorways for Fall 2012, that display a nice combination of light and dark colors to coincide with the Fall/Autumn season. The four colorways seen here for the first time, is a Dynamic Blue/White AM 1 that we showed you last month, Summit White/Shaded Blue-Sandtrap, White/Mint Candy-Obsidian and Light Bone/Summit White. These should be arriving at Nike retailers around August and September.

Nike Air Force 180 – ‘Olympic’ – 2012

Returning after 8 years since it’s last retro release, is the Nike Air Force 180 ‘Olympic’ which was Charles Barkley’s signature shoe he wore, on the USAB team 20 years ago. The ‘Olympic’ 180 is set to release alongside the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7 Olympic, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the 1992 USAB team. Let us know if you’ll be copping this classic!

Although not officially a shoe Penny Hardaway wore during his NBA career, the Penny 5 was still anticipated by fans who’ve been following the series since the 90′s. Yesterday, we gave you a detailed look at the ‘Orlando’ colorway that gave us more detail than expected, including a few messages that displayed on the back tab. Now we continue with the ‘Miami Dolphins’ colorway, that gives us a first look at the insole details that display the state of Tennessee, and Penny’s famous quote ‘Ballin is what I was Born to do’.
