[Unreleased Footage] Kanye Plays Jay-Z “Big Brother”

On the latest episode of the former GOOD music artist Tony Williams’ #Road2KoTF, he released footage and spoke about the first time Kanye played Jay-Z “Big Brother” during the Graduation sessions. It was in NYC and just about everyone was there (Big Sean, Joi Starr, A-Trak, Plain Pat, Mike Dean, etc..) during the studio session. This footage is just another piece of evidence towards the understanding of Kanye’s community-esque vibe he creates in. s/o The Source for the link

Dior Velvet Eyes to Launch for Fashion’s Night Out

When I first heard of Velvet Eyes, a new stick on eye-liner from Dior, my mind immediately conjured up images of those tacky leopard, butterfly wing and rainbow instant eyeshadow transfers.  I know you know the ones I mean. Scary, right?  I have to admit, I was skeptical. However, after seeing pictures of the patches on an eye-lid I may be whistling a different tune. I think they look pretty darn good!  The launch of these eye decals is set to coincide with Fashion’s Night Out (tomorrow, September 8th). They will debut at the NYC Dior Boutique and afterwards will be sold exclusively at Sephora.  I still have reservations about the concept of stick on eye make-up. After all, not everyone has the same bone structure, how could a generic eye template look good on everyone?  Also it must be said, not even Dior can convince me to wear rhinestones on my eyelids.  One things for certain though, I’ll definitely be taking some of the less…sparkly versions out for a test drive!

 

 

Lil Weezy Fits Into Some Lil Jeggings

These days (and apparently at this year’s MTV VMAs) it is common to see an editorial or a celebrity crossing the sartorial gender lines. The covers of our favorite glossies are known to do it, Gaga has some gender bending tricks up her sleeve, and Kanye wore a Celine blouse… what’s next? Lil Wayne’s jeggings, naturally. Your Twitter feed may have been abuzz about his choice for bottoms during his performance Sunday night (shit, his jeans have their own twitter handle) — and we here at Karmaloop are tickled to learn that yes, we carry the now infamous Tripp NYC pair of Bleach Leopard Pants.
