Wear It Three Ways: The Coined Lady Sweater

Check out The Coined Lady Sweater, a perfect match to any legging, skinny, or fun mini! This sweater jingles with each step you take, and is so unbelievably comfortable to wear. Here’s how I styled this piece. This first look would be my party/club look. Pair this charmer with a black mini, a pair of wet look leggings or shiny tights, and a nice pair of sparkly pumps. You can try BB Dakota’s Kiera Skirt, the Sheena Legging from *NYC Boutique, and Jeffrey Campbell’s Lita Shoe in Pewter Glitter.

In this second look I put together an outfit that you can take from day to night! Throw on your best skinnies (acid wash, black, yellow, or otherwise) then add a nice knit hat, a cool belt, and you’re good to go! For a similar look try out the Acid Wash Skinny by Your Eyes Lie or the Second Skin Jean in Very Stretch Onewash by Cheap Monday. For a belt, try the Efficiency Belt by remi and reid and lastly, try the Small Slouch Beanie by BMC.

For my last look I wanted to add a pop of color to make this my fun look. Put together a great pair of bright leggings or jeans such as the Tangerine Ankle Skinny or the Spray-On Denim Pant in Petrol Fuchsia (both by Blank Denim), or the Anarchy Jegging in Purple Blaster by Denimocracy. To top off this look get yourself the Cash Flow Back Pack by Joyrich for a nice twist on this outfit!

Look Of The Week: Back To Cool

I remember going back to school being such a huge deal when I was younger (and still in school). I could spend hours deliberating over the perfect outfit, mixing and matching and trying things on until my room looked like the aftermath of Hurricane Jenini. My mother loved that. But I digress, and after the first day of school you’re still trying to portray the new, improved THIS YEAR you.

This outfit is great for a chic back to school look. Layer a basic cardi over a more statement buttondown top, which is made more sophisticated by tucking into high waisted shorts, all topped off with a pair of adorable ruffle socks and a cute bowler hat, this look is so simple to pull off! Pair with a pop color bag for your books, and a pair of cute little lace up wedges, and you’ve got an outfit to envy.

Asics Gel Lyte Speed Holiday 2009 Surface Pack

Asics will shortly release two exciting new interpretations of the Gel Lyte Speed, a trainer that was originally developed in 1989 in Japan, and that was launched in the USA and Europe in 1991. The Gel Lyte Speed is a lighter version of the flagship Gel Lyte III, and was designed specifically to meet the needs of experienced runners.

21 years on, Asics is now set to launch two new versions of this successful design called the Surface Pack. Inspired by the outdoors, both shoes feature things a runner is likely to come across when out and about. One of the models is grey to represent the color of the road, and has touches of red and white for a road-sign look and feel, while the other has a more off-the-beaten-track style, with green to represent grass, and a mud-splashed sole and lace design.

These two unique designs from the Japanese running company will be available from 1 December 2009 at selected retailers across Europe!

We continue to preview some styles from the Reebok Fall 2009 Collection. The sneaker brand continues to work with Roland Berry and presents a pack of sneakers for next season. The pack consists of the Freestyle, Pump Omni Lite and the Pump Graphite Retro. All three sneakers come in black/white, which is rather subtle for the designer, but he makes it up with the wild pattern that he used for the sneakers.
