[RH In-Concert] A$AP Rocky Live from The Middle East

While the Boston and Cambridge area was the last stop before the A$AP Mob returns to their beloved city of New York, they did right by the fans and put on one hell of a performance. From the beginning, when Rocky stormed the stage with his latest banger “Pretty Flacko” until he ended with “Peso”, Rocky had everyone on their toes. Blow Hip Hop TV was on hand to catch one of the crowning moments of the night [video below], as Rocky made sure that crowd surfing fans wouldn’t get ejected from the venue. Rocky didn’t stop giving back after that either, at one point in time he cut the lights and pronounced that it was time to “get lit”. A$AP knows how to throw down.

The Middle East’s downstairs is a tiny venue, more reminiscent of a dorm room than a concert hall, and the energy level was off the charts the entire time. As fans filtered out after the compact set, some complained about the brevity of the show, but in in reality it was perfect. He went through the majority of LiveLoveA$AP and kept it live the whole show. So to those complaining, I say count your blessings. It is unlikely that I’ll be able to see any A$AP performance a setting like this.

Morale of this article: A$AP gets it live and if you have a chance to see them, do it.

A$AP ROCKY STOPS SHOW + SAVES FAN – “WASSUP” BOSTON

Lil Weezy Fits Into Some Lil Jeggings

These days (and apparently at this year’s MTV VMAs) it is common to see an editorial or a celebrity crossing the sartorial gender lines. The covers of our favorite glossies are known to do it, Gaga has some gender bending tricks up her sleeve, and Kanye wore a Celine blouse… what’s next? Lil Wayne’s jeggings, naturally. Your Twitter feed may have been abuzz about his choice for bottoms during his performance Sunday night (shit, his jeans have their own twitter handle) — and we here at Karmaloop are tickled to learn that yes, we carry the now infamous Tripp NYC pair of Bleach Leopard Pants. Grab ‘em while you can!

KRS-One Performance & Discussion On Obama

Okay so, KRS-One crashes a show hosted by Chuck D a couple days ago. He gets on the mic and drops some serious knowledge on and off the rhyming tip. With that being said, as a individual living in this society, I like to keep focus on the real issues at hand, so I was blown away with some of the stuff he was speaking. One of the verses: “the president can’t do nothing with the banks, thats for the federal reserve bank, you asking the president for the economy, when it’s the federal reserve banks that run society” -Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone
