The Reebok x Keith Haring Classic Leather Mid Strap Lux goes with a quirky flip flop color scheme that is sure to ruffle some feathers. The pair features one shoe dressed in blue and neon yellow, with the opposite shoe acting as its exact inverse. The upper is composed of leather and mesh and features a massive “Barking Dog” strap along with a print featuring Haring’s logo running along the entire midsole. While these are not for everyone, the piece is definitely an eye catcher and certainly going to be popular for those looking to buy something outside of the box.

Frank the Butcher x Reebok Classic Leather “BAU”

Frank the Butcher has been working in the sneaker biz for a quite a while, and he knows a thing or two about creating the perfect recipe for a dope shoe. He gets his hands on the Reebok Classic Leather and creates the “BAU” which combines leather and suede in the upper for a refined look. The shoe takes on a cobblestone color which alternates between dark and light shades, and gets finished with navy leather that really brings everything together. These joints will be available at select shops and boutiques this coming Friday, February 16th.

Today, most people would associate running sneakers with Nike, ASICS, or Saucony, but it was Reebok‘s forerunner, then known as J.W. Foster & Sons, that introduced the first footwear made specifically for running over 100 years ago. In celebrating that legacy and the 30th anniversary of Reebok Classic Leather, the label invited key retailers from its Certified Network to create their own variations. And much like the PUMP 20th Anniversary collaborative project back in 2009, Sweden’s sneakersNstuff redesigned its version of the Reebok Classic Leather with a “winter theme.” Made to endure the frigid Swedish winter, sneakersNstuff swapped out Reebok Classic Leather’s entire upper with resilient Cordura fabric instead. In Symphony Blue, tonal suede overlays accentuate the details. To further “winter-proof” its design, sneakersNstuff added Thinsulate insulation and PlayDry lining to the interior. Finally, a minor color switch on one of Reebok’s Union Jack emblem to that of Sweden’s.

Part of the year-long Reebok Classic Leather 30th anniversary celebration, the sneakersNstuff x Reebok Classic Leather will be available tomorrow through sneakersNstuff retail locations. They will also be available via sneakersNstuff’s online store.

Reebok Classic Kamikaze II Mid OG Red/Black + Black/White

Riding on the success of the first Kamikaze II Mid OG from earlier this month, Reebok Classic is readying itself for another pandemonium filled release next month when it will launch two Reebok Classic Kamikaze II Mid in OG Red/Black and OG Black/White colorways. Already seen on the feet of Rick Ross and DJ Khaled, these limited edition retro will be retail for $100. Both will drop next Friday, February 1st, at select retailers such as Finish Line, Foot Locker, Champs, City Gear, DTLR, Jimmy Jazz, and more… They will also be available through Reebok.com online store.

Judging by how dedicated Swizz Beatz is to his Reebok role you had to figure it was only a matter of time before he convinced wifey Alicia Keys to get on board as well. As of now he has, with Alicia getting her own collection that runs four pairs deep right off the bat. The models include the Reebok Classic Nylon Slim, the Reebok Freestyle Dubble Bubble, and the Reebok Freestyle Hi all under the ‘Alicia Keys’ designation which has resulted so far in some very focused black and gold pairs for the most part. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex x Reebok Insta Pump Fury Tachikoma

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury provides a large canvas for creative collaborations. In addition to the Spider-Man inspired colorway we previewed last week, we now have a first look at a Tachikoma-styled silhouette using the spider-like walker from Japan’s Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime series. Reebok decided to wrap the outer shell in royal blue with grey and red accents sitting atop a pebble-textured midsole and black Ultra-lite outsole. Custom Stand Alone graphics wrap the insole with matching logos on the heel rounding out the look. Limited to 500 pairs, stayed tuned to act when release information drops. via: Fashionsnap

Reebok Classic Session NYC Reed Space

Reebok Classics and the have come together to create a public space where music and art collide. They’ve converted a Lower East Side storefront into a space where musicians and artists meet, collaborate and create during sessions that are oftentimes open to the public. The art is created on the spot on the blank walls of the space, while the music is similarly recorded on the premises. After a few weeks the walls are wiped clean and the process starts over with a new pairing. The Classic Session project was launched this month with up and coming rapper T.Shirt and the street art collective URNewYork. Check out the video documenting their session following the click.
