Shawnimobile!

Check out this AWESOME Applehead x Shawnimals collaboration!  Jamie had the awesome idea of customizing a mobile for our baby with some Ninjatown characters, and this here is the result. I love it, what do you think Mr. Smith??

Our little monkey is going to grow up to be a cute little ninja monkey. :)

SDCC 2011 Line Up – Day 2

El Bandito Muerto by Jesse Hernandez

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Jesse Hernandez unveils his outlaw of death – El Bandito Muerto. Fully armed and ominous, this malevolent 8-inch black and grey pistol-packing bandit blends Hernandez’ signature indigenous style with a seriously dark and edgy street vibe.  The removable sombrero and sculpted detailed serape lay claim to Bandito’s and Hernandez’ own Mexican roots, but the colossal sculpted sneakers and somber six-shooter are less than subtle clues to this mean muerto’s approach to life and death on the streets. Limited to only 250 pieces at $100 Jesse will be signing from 1-3pm.

Super Ninja Plush by Shawnimals

The fun doesn’t stop on Day 2 as Ninjatown creator Shawnimals will be gracing Kidrobot’s Booth 4529 for an super-duper signing for the release of his KR Exclusive Super Ninja plush from 4-6pm. Limited to 50 pieces, this 7-inch cuddily hero will cost $22.99 and will be flying off the shelves. So don’t miss out.

Shawnimals – Ninja Dog @ C2E2

Shawnimals will be presenting a follow up to last year’s popular – and consequently sold-out – Chicago Dog, available exclusively at the 2011 Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2 for short). Enter the Ninja Dog! From the tag…

Some dogs are simply too special to be considered food, yet this does not stop them from being pursued. Ninja Dog can evade the most veracious eaters – even Chicagoans – with his honed ninja skills and innovative gadgetry. He can scale buildings with his sport pepper grapple and mustard rope, blind you with a celery salt smoke bomb, or even smother you with his charred yet strangely squishy bun. You’ve been warned!

Hit the jump for more..

The handmade Ninja Dog plush exclusive is part of a 100 piece edition, available for $25 a piece at the Shawnimals booth (no. 1036 near the signing area). Each one is bagged and numbered, with special header card designed by the Shawnimals team. It comes equipped with everything one would expect a Ninja Dog to need including a sport pepper grapple, a mustard rope, and a satchel containing a celery salt smoke bomb.

C2E2 runs March 18th – 20th, 2011. Tickets and more info can be found at the C2E2 website

If by chance these highly anticipated items aren’t completely sold out by the end of the show, the remaining Ninja Dogs will be available for purchase at the Shawnimals online store.

One more tidbit for Wee Ninja fans: Keep an eye out for the life-sized Wee Ninja who’ll be stealthily wandering the aisles at this year’s C2E2 – perhaps he’ll give you a special ninja treat if you ask nicely…

It’s the Professor’s last day!

Thats right! It’s Saturday and it is your last chance to see Shawnimals’ The Chronicles of Professor Fliggins at the A.Okay official Gallery. Get on over there already…

…before he leaves on another adventure.

Can’t bring yourself to leave your house? Go online to view and purchase the work (unfortunately you wont be able to get a t-shirt, DIY Fliggins face or those limited edition plush online. You have to go to the gallery for that). Enjoy the show and we will be back next week with another crazy exhibit.
