In their continued collaboration as part of an ongoing capsule collection, Stussy and Hectic Skateboard’s AKEEM come together for the “Use Hearing Protection” T-Shirt. Presented with graphics in either white, orange or blue, the blurry effect creates the sense that the pulsating music is so intense that squinting is the only option. Utilizing skull imagery that has become synonymous with Stussy, the latest shirts are available at chapter stores and online.

A Bathing Ape Shanghai & Beijing Limited Edition Products

China will be one of the main growing markets for Japanese brand Bape, just like for most other fashion brands as well. This month they have a special treat for their customers in China, their Shanghai and Beijing stores specifically. Of course the stores, just like all others around the globe, have their own camouflage color and are getting Bape head t-shirts, Bape Sta sneakers and iPhone stickers in their respective camo colors.

A release of the special products is scheduled in both stores for May 26th, 2012.

In an interesting new team-up, iconic New York City photographer Ricky Powell has collaborated with 11 Japanese brands. The participating brands are Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, Deluxe, Swagger, Phenomenon, Frank, Metaphore, plumpynuts, TwoRoleRhythmking, Coremetalcraft, Mam Avantgarde and Frank.

The products coming from the collaboration range from t-shirts to ties, cushions, bags, playing cards, furniture, shirts and more.You can purchase them all now through Zozo.

Over the past week Kidult and Marc Jacobs have been having somewhat of a feud. Now, in what Kidult is referring to as the “Final Ending,” the French street artist has released the ‘Not Art by Kidult’ T-Shirt. Flipping MJ’s $689 tee on it’s head, this one goes for a mere 6,89 Euros (approx. $8.80 USD) and comes in white or pink. The shirts are available now through Kidult, limited to 50 pieces per color.

A.P.C. Music Band T-Shirts

Music is at the heart of every and anything Parisian imprint A.P.C. does, which makes their latest Band T-Shirts that much more appropriate. Working hand in hand with bands like Veronica Falls, The Rapture, Paradis and Connan Mockasin, the collection is truly a collaboration as each musical faction had a huge part in the design process that evokes a minimalist aesthetic. The four T-shirt collection is available at select retailers and online through August 2012.

This story is becoming interesting. So, first Kidult tags ‘ART’ all over the Marc Jacobs Mercer Street store front. We assumed at the time that it was a marketing stunt, especially once Jacobs released a t-shirt with the store front on it for 689 USD. Then sources close to Kidult confirmed to us, that Kidult was actually not officially involved in the t-shirt. At that point in time, we actually thought that Jacobs handled the situation well by offering the ridiculously expensive t-shirt.

Now, FRY is producing a t-shirt of the t-shirt and it goes for just 35 USD. Also check out the other t-shirts of t-shirts by FRY, a pretty funny idea actually.

Bape has teamed up with Japanese Manga Series ONEPIECE, illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, on a capsule collection for Summer 2012. The collection consists of graphic t-shirts, releasing in two drops on May 26th and June 2nd.

ASAP Rocky and the RSVPASAP Capsule Collection

We present a new video giving a nice recap of the launch of the RSVPASAP Capsule Collection, a collaboration between the Chicago concept store and the rapper. The collection seems to consists of t-shirts and Starter snapback caps for the most part. Hopefully we can soon confirm a release date and get a better look at the collection.

Japanse label Number (N)ine continue to release goods — funny one that, but it’s still appreciated nonetheless. For this season, they deliver one pullover hood and a selection of tees bearing their own graphics and also collaborative work with The Rolling Stones and Disney, putting their own twist on the given iconic graphics. These items are available to from Anout Commune.
