Newly offered up from Stussy Japan is a T-Shirt capsule collection designed in part by AKEEM, best known through his association with Hectic Skateboards. White and black mock-ups are presented in combination with stylized camouflage patterns on three items, and classic Stussy imagery featured on an additional piece. Available currently from Japanese chapter locations, pricing has been set at ¥5,250 JPY (approximately $67 USD).

San Francisco’s very own Benny Gold presents their diverse Valencia Collection. The label offers a strong variety of hats, tees, jackets and hoodies, that’s all broken down into themes of a truck emblem, native, bulldog, knowledge, hops and state champ. There’s also an inclusion of accessories of skateboard decks and socks. Bold colors and unique graphics are used throughout the collection, carrying forward the strong identity of the brand. A launch party for the collection is being held at the Benny Gold store in San Francisco, taking place this Saturday from 3-7 pm.

For Spring/Summer 2012, Stussy is bringing the iconic and classic characters from Peanuts to life in a capsule collection for kids. Presenting images seemingly pulled from the Sunday papers, four different tees and two different hats are available – with Snoopy front and center on all of the items. Presented mostly in black and white, bits of color splashes of reds and yellows show up as well, allowing for the storied comic characters to pop at just the correct moment. The Peanuts x Stussy capsule collection is available at select Stussy accounts worldwide.
The UNDERCOVER for Uniqlo “UU” T-Shirt Collection finds various iconic characters and images drawn from the whimsical and imaginative world of Disney. Featured graphics rely heavily on the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as well as arguably the most recognizable cartoon character ever – Mickey Mouse. Presented in a line of seven different tees – all which utilize a black base color – the line allows the signature illustrations from yesteryear to take center stage. FUCT come strong as usual as they have released both archival photos mixed with photos featuring their current collection that’s modelled on various street characters, in this collection dubbed “Divided We Stand, United We Fall”. The images show that the brand’s stood the test of time and is still indeed relevant today. Photography duties were taken on board by both Mikal Howard and Adam Rossiter.

Having previously collaborated with the likes of Dickies, Converse and more in season’s past, Japan’s n(n) BY NUMBER (N)INE has linked up with none other than the Rolling Stones for part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Coming in the form of a black tee with The Stones’ iconic John Pasche-created “Tongue and Lip Design” logo emblazoned on the front, the shirt revamps this concept with a pierced tongue and mustachioed upper lip. Look for the unique take on the iconic imagery to be available in the latter months of 2012 including DeepInsideinc.com.
French brand Hype Means Nothing garnered a fair amount of attention in 2010 with the launch of their t-shirt label that depicted different celebrities making mock sunglass hand gestures. We haven’t reported on them in some time, but thought this Tyler, the Creator shirt was worth a nod. Grab one at Storm.

Once again Original Fake, the brand by artist KAWS and Medicom, is celebrating. For the occasion of its 6th anniversary, the brand gets together with a few fellow Japanese brands on collaborative product.
Collaboration t-shirts are presented with fragment design and Hysteric Glamour. Together with Neighborhood they produced a small capsule collection, which includes two t-shirts, belts and denim.
The collection will release along with the 1000% Bearbrick, on 3rd of May, 2012.
