Tricker’s Corniche Quaid Shoe

Tricker’s takes a step aside from its oft-used brogue wingtip footwear style to release the Corniche Quaid Shoe for Spring/Summer 2012. Signifying the brand’s more casual segment of footwear offerings, the Corniche Quaid Shoe is a high-top silhouette that is set atop a tonal slightly lugged, stitch down rubber outsole. The pair is mocked up with premium suede panels, features a padded tongue and is rounded out by tan flat laces. End Clothing has taken stock of the pair for a retail of £169 GBP (approximately $272 USD).

This is not the first dance between Caol Uno’s UCS brand and Tricker’s. This time around the two brands hook up on the M798 Tramping Shoes in two distinct colors. We see one shoe in a tan leather fused with white canvas, while the navy pair is made up of nubuck and canvas. Each pair is kitted with a Vibram sole, too. Head over to UCS for purchasing info.

The Steer Rubber-Sole Leather Loafers come with a navy upper and a bright red lining. A more sporty version of the penny loafer, these are easy to wear and match with pretty much anything. For Spring/Summer 2012, once again Tricker’s and Norse Projects have teamed up. This season they present three colorways of the Suede Derby Brogue. Featuring Repello suede uppers and sitting on a Vibram Cristy wedge sole unit, the shoes are both sporty and dressy at the same time. Since summer is just around the corner, we vote for great orange colorway of the shoe, seen here above.

In collaborating with Tricker’s, both brands seem to find a happy medium in design qualities for this Brogue offering. Rugged, yet stylish on the outer, the inside boasts a military green color scheme and detailings of the collaboration. The Brogue can be purchased now through select retailers, priced at ¥69,300 JPY (approximately $850 USD).

An interesting collaboration is coming from Japanese brand nonnative and Tricker’s this season. While the Rider Shoes at first look like a classic wingtip brogue, you see at closer inspection that they are quite a bit different. Coming in a nice premium black cow leather version, the toe box construction is the most interesting on the shoe, which will release as part of nonnative’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection later this season.
