Nike Vandal High – Grey – Black – Blue

Nike Vandal High Grey Black Blue

It’s still pretty early in 2012, but by the looks of things so far the Nike Vandal High might be poised for a bit of a resurgence. Not a model that we generally see too frequently, we just gave you a look at this black and gold pair and we’re back already with a foggy colored version that mixes in some icy hits of blue. Abandoning the vintage bent of the aforementioned black/gold’s, these ditch the nylon for a leather look, which which fades to black across the piped off sections of the upper. There’s even a bit of canvas thrown in for the Swoosh overlay and the Nike branding on the back badge. Nike Vandal High Supreme – Black – Metallic Gold – White

Nike Vandal High Supreme Black Metallic Gold White

It’s mildly amusing that during the period that Christmastime Air Jordan XI Retro releases have been hot enough to concide with property damage to the storefronts selling them, the Nike Vandal has been all but absent. But for fans of this 1984 classic, Nike Sportswear dialing back the quantity of new designs is no laughing matter. Vandal collectors will remember this colorway as having appeared on a strikingly similar 2002 release, one that also carried the Supreme designation, but was covered in suede instead of the OG-leaning nylon on this new drop. Peep some more pics after the jump, let us know if you’d like to see more new Vandal releases and find this pair at NSW stores like Purchaze.

Nike Vandal High – Black – White

Nike Vandal High Black White

Rudy Guliani hasn't made waves in the early Republican presidential runoff, but he's gotta be pleased with 2011 because we haven't seen evidence of very many Vandals. And regardless of your opinion on street art, Nike Sportswear's relative lack of attention to the Nike Vandal High has left fans of the strappy hightop wondering when and if this model will return to its '00s heights, NSW now commanding a near-infinite vault of classic models. Luckily, we haven't been totally without the Vandal's presence in '11, and this new black pair reprises the clean material and colorblocking pattern in use on a Dark Grey pair that released in early August. Click through to get a better look and pick these up at a NSW retailer likeTitolo.

Nike Vandal High – Dark Grey – White

Nike Vandal High Dark Grey White

It seems like we're averaging one new Nike Vandal High colorway a quarter these days, and for a model that used to run alongside the Dunk and Blazer with its frequent new releases, the relative lack these days is quite conspicuous.  Even if we're not going to get into the double-digits in 2011, at least with this new pair, Nike Sportswear managed to nail contemporary trends, as this new Vandal High looks as crisp as any pair we've ever seen with its grey leather body giving way to white accents.  Click through to see some more angles and look for these at NSW retailers like Asphaltgold.
