WeSC Paris Skate Corner Opens | VideoInside the WeSC Paris Concept Store on Rue Tiquetonne, they have dedicated a corner of the retail space to carry skateboard products and related merchandise. The talented London-based illustrator and artist, Mode2, had the honors of painting on the back wall of the store, welcoming visitors with a large monochromatic illustration. By no means, is this a huge skateboard shop; however, it looks to be a cozy spot to pick up some hardware when needed. WeSC Spring 2013 Denim Lookbook By Ricky Powell | Featuring Kim Matulova

Drawing on some familiarities from a by-gone era, Swedish clothing label We are the Superlative Conspiracy, or WeSC for short, recently commissioned the one-and-only Ricky Powell for an impromptu lookbook for its Spring 2013 Denim Collection. Shot on and around the famed Minetta Street in New York City’s West Village neighborhood, Powell recreated some of his most memorable images (albeit unintentionally) during the heyday of hip-hop with help from WeActivist/model Kim Matulova. Featuring WeSC’s most popular denim models, including Eddy, Bob, Kelvin, Lizzy, and Mandy, all of which are available now through WeSC retail locations across 24 countries worldwide.

The attention and energy surrounding the unveiling of the WeSC x RZA: Chambers by RZA at the launch hosted by colette a few weeks ago affirmed that the duo was bent on releasing headphones that were deserving of the RZA title — a name whose multi-faceted music history needs to introduction. HBTV was given the opportunity to speak with RZA regarding the creative progression of the project. RZA offered insight into his resolute determination to make the Chambers by RZA series both aesthetically impressive and innovatively functional through a variety of understated design elements that he curated by pulling from his musical common sense as a producer and performer. Listen as RZA introduces the internal specifics of the drivers and discusses the subtle function adjustments that make the Chambers by RZA one of the most viable headphones of late. The launch party also featured a live performance by Pusha T.

WeSC x RZA x Colette – Chambers by RZA Paris Launch

WeSC has teamed up with famed boutique Colette Paris to launch the Chambers by RZA Lounge at the Colette Carnaval this weekend, March 10 and 11. With the Abbot himself being present, the launch event will celebrate the arrival of the Street and Premium headphones which will be available for testing and using during the Saturday and Sunday's Carnival. In addition, the event will offer some of the hottest music, refreshments and further surprises. The Official Chambers by RZA Party begins after the Saturday Chambers by RZA Lounge at the Colette Carnaval. Guests can expect a live performance by Pusha T as well as DJ sets by DJ Prince Charles, Arthur King and DJ Weedim. For more information go here.
