Dimepiece Designs: The Drug & the Dream

Dimepiece Designs presented their Spring 2012 collection at a unique installation last month titled The Drug & the Dream, hosted by one of our Karmaloop iKons Iggy Azalea. This presentation explores the concept of escapism through psychedelic imagery, colorful designs, and the brand’s signature tongue-in-cheek graphics and slogans. Held at HVW8 Art + Design Gallery in LA, the show featured work from Marco Bhimani and Issac Bauman inspired by the collection, set to tunes curated by international DJ Franck Chevalier and LA “it-boy” BJ Panda Bear. Expect to see vintage inspired pieces with saturated floral prints and retro psychedelic graphics. We can’t wait for this new collection to drop!

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Elite (Stash) features a honeywheat / pimento color-way, which is simply a green and beige upper. Designed in collaboration with Stash, these are really nice, as they do feature some artwork on the toebox and side panels. The orange Nike swoosh definitely stands out as it is bright. The back half of the shoe features a diamond shaped pattern, and features Zoom Air insoles, evident as they are embossed on the shoe’s outsole. * This is a special Stash Edition Release. Nike Air Force 1 World Booba

As part of the Nike 1World series, they did not only work with Busy P from Paris, but also with French rapper Booba. The sneaker features a red leather upper with overlaying graphics, as well as some more graphics on the outer sole. Booba’s logo is featured on the lace lock.

The Nike Air Force 1 1World Booba will be released on December 6th, is limited to 176 pairs and will be exclusively available at Booba’s boutique Boulbi & Co. in Boulogne. Via LaMJC.
